Delivery of
furniture we have in stock at our warehouse will be within 14 days of

dispatched within 28 days of your confirmed order, unless otherwise
stated on the
product description.
Deliveries are only available Monday-Friday. All drivers carry mobile
phones, and whenever possible on the day of your delivery our drivers
will keep in touch with you advising you on their progress. if you

Due to insurance
restrictions, the delivery drivers are only able to deliver your goods
to the ground floor of a property.

Recycled Packaging
Wherever possible, The Orchard aims to reduce packaging wastage by
recycling the outer packaging boxes. We are also
trying to cut back on using plastic packaging, to make it easier for
you to also recycle at home.
Access
of Pre-built Furniture
As the majority of our furniture is fully assembled, please ensure you
measure your access points in advance of delivery.
Dispatch
policy
It
is our policy to dispatch items ordered in the shortest possible time.
However The Orchard
cannot be held responsible for any delays or damages occurred while in
transit.
Orders
dispatched to addresses outside the EU may be subject to local taxes
and duties. The Orchard
is not responsible for these charges.

If you are not
satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please inform us

Product
unsuitability
If you wish to
return an item due to unsuitability, you must do so within 14 days of receipt.
Please return the item in perfect, unused condition, with the original
packaging to:

The Buyer is responsible for payment of the returned item. All returns
must be in the original packaging, unused and in perfect condition.
We
do stress that when returning an item, it is strongly recommended that
you obtain proof of collection of posting. We cannot accept
responsibility for parcels or furniture lost in transit and can only
refund or offer a credit note once the item is received back to us.
Once
the item has been checked by us, you will be refunded, less the
original delivery charge, directly back on your credit/debit card or
into your
paypal account

Please note that our
returns address is different for furniture returns. Please contact us
prior to returning.
Cancellations
The Consumer Protection (Distance
Selling) Regulations 2000
Contracts for the purchase of goods by a Customer not acting in the
course of a business and made over the telephone or through the The Orchardhomeandgifts.com website
are, with the exception of certain excepted contracts, subject to The
Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (“the
Regulations”).
Customers may cancel goods purchased from by sending a written notice
of cancellation by post to The Orchard, 5
Ravensbourne House, Arlington Road, Twickenham, TW1 2AXThe Orchard Home and Gifts LLP or
by E-mail to sales@theorchardhomeandgifts.com
The notice of cancellation must be delivered within 7 working days of
the date of delivery of the goods.
The Customer will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods if
he or she exercises this right of cancellation under the Regulations.
If the Customer does not actually return the goods to The Orchard,
the Customer is under a duty to make the goods available for collection
at the Customer’s expense from the address to which they were
delivered.
The Customer is under a duty to retain possession of the goods whilst
awaiting return to The
Orchard
and to take reasonable care of them during this period. The Customer
will be liable for any loss of or damage to the goods if he or she
fails to comply with this obligation.
Faulty/Damaged
items
Notification of damages, shortages and faults must be sent within 48 hours of delivery
via e-mail at sales@theorchardhomeandgifts.com
The item must
be returned with all original packaging and invoice, within 7 days.

Returns
Please
note that if your outer delivery box appears damaged, please ensure you
make a note of this when you sign for the item. Mark the sheet 'Damaged
Outer Box'. If you do not make a note of this with the courier, we may
be unable to claim compensation on your behalf.
Please contact us to arrange collection of your damaged furniture
return - please do not
return without prior arrangement with our customer
services team - 0845 6430 363.
Once
we are in receipt of the item, we will aim to dispatch a replacement
within 7 working days on receipt of the item. If the item is out of
stock, we will notify you of the lead time on delivery.
We
do stress that when returning items it is strongly recommended that you
obtain proof of collection or posting. We cannot accept responsibility
for parcels lost in transit.
Return of Sale Items & Vintage Orchard Items
Please note that we do offer a refund or exchange on Sale
items due to unsuitability. Sale items are excluded from Refunds and
Exchanges, unless damaged/faulty.
Due
to the nature of the Vintage
Orchard
items, we do not offer a refund or exchange policy on these items.
Please note that due to the age of these items, many will have wear and
tear and therefore are not in perfect condition.
