| | | Frequently Asked Questions | | | Q: Do you sell metres of fabric? | | | A: Not by the metre, BUT I do offer continuous lengths of fabric if more than one Fat Quarter is purchased of the same fabric. I.e. if x2 FQ's are bought/won, you receive 1/2 yard uncut, 4 FQ's = 1 yard. Refer to details found on my 'Me' Page (just click the 'me' icon next to my user ID). Multiple FQ's are found in my eBay shop, yardage on my website. | | Q: Do you combine shipping? | | | A: Yes, for the UK: P&P is 95p for 1st FQ, 50p each additional FQ thereafter. Please request an invoice when you have finished bidding/buying. Subscribers to my shop newsletter can benefit from further P&P discount offers using codes found in my newsletters. To subscribe, add me to your favourites list, and click on the appropriate boxes. | | Q: What is a Fat Quarter? | | | A: A Fat Quarter is a quarter of a yard, and measures approx. 18" x 22". It is favoured by quilters, although also useful for bags, cushions, wall art, applique projects, cardmaking/scrapbooking, napkins, headbands, trim, the list is endless if you are creative! Some just like to add a Fat Quarter of a favourite fabric to their fabric stash. | | Q: Why is the P&P sometimes more than the price of the stamp? | | | A: P&P is not purely postage costs, it is Postage & Packaging, & I pride myself on an exceptional service. All fabrics are sent securely & safely in an inner plastic bag, and inserted into a waterproof and tamperproof outer packaging bag. Costs include these bags, printing costs, stationery, my time cutting and posting, and are calculated accordingly. | | Q: If I win x1 FQ at auction, can I have another FQ of the same fabric as a continuous length? | | | A: Yes, but you will need to purchase the extra FQ needed, from my eBay shop. The majority of fabrics listed at auction are for one FQ (although there are exceptions). Please don't presume you can have 2 FQ's of the same fabric for the same cost as your winning auction bid! | | Q: Do you have a retail shop I can visit? | | | A: We are an online fabric distributor only. You can also find great deals on our website : www.thefabulousfabricshop.com. |
