Our aim is to deliver goods within a stated delivery time, but this is sometimes outside of our control and we cannot be held responsible for any consequential losses, costs or damages involved with late delivery. Delivered goods are your responsibility. We will not be held responsible for any financial implications arising from failure or delay in accepting delivery. We arrange a contract on your behalf with the courier company. New Image Car Hi does not accept any liability for shortages and damages to delivered goods unless the customer notifies by phone within 24 hours of shortages/ damages followed by a written notification within 4 days in order to process a claim with the manufacturer or the delivery company. Unless otherwise stated in the manufacturer's documentation, all goods supplied or delivered to UK mainland addresses carry a 12-month manufacturer's warranty.
The warranty shall not apply if the goods have been tampered with, altered or damaged in any way by the customer; this includes connection cables and looms. Please contact us on 020 8427 1111 available Mon-Fri 9.00am to 5.00pm before taking any action. We may be able to resolve the problem on the phone or give you advice on the appropriate action to take.
If you are advised to return the goods to our fully equipped service department they will endeavour to repair the goods within 7 working days. On receipt of the returned product we will test it to identify the fault you have notified to us. Provided that the goods are found to be faulty under the terms of the manufacturers warranty there will be no charge for rectification or carriage. If following the testing process the product is found to be in good working order without defect, we will return the product to you, the carriage cost of which will be your responsibility. However in certain circumstances we may need to send the product back to the original manufacturers due to the nature of the fault. If so this may take longer dependant on the manufacturer's turnaround time.
Alternatively, the goods may be taken to any local dealership that has an approved service centre for the manufacturer in question. However, the turnaround time may vary from our own, please take advice from the dealer in question.
Customers returning goods to our service department in person should provide proof of purchase.
Mail order customers will be responsible for the and cost of returning the goods to us. Please ensure the equipment is adequately packed and protected to prevent damage in transit. We cannot accept liability for packages damaged or lost during transit. It is the customer's responsibility to adequately pack and protect the goods and to ensure that the parcel is sufficiently insured. Do not forget to include a copy of your proof of purchase and also a full description of the fault. Please also supply a daytime contact telephone number and return address.
Please note proof of postage is not proof of delivery; therefore please use a reliable and recognised courier.
