Mayjasper’s Shopping Terms
Authenticity (Cosmetics)
A long and careful search was undertaken before bringing these cosmetics to market to ensure our chosen suppliers provided genuine goods that were sourced legally and ethically.
Service And Quality
We value your custom (easy to say but we mean it!) and it gives us pleasure to give you good service in all aspects of our business. We want you to be pleased when you open your package, not disappointed, so we are particular in providing fair and accurate descriptions of our products. We are careful to check the quality of all the goods before they are despatched and that we despatch the correct goods. Our packaging and labelling is done with care. If there are any errors please contact us so that we can remedy the situation.
Up until now (February 2008) during fourteen months of trading one item was faulty, no incorrect items were sent, one item was lost in the post and one item was broken in the post. Items are posted in envelopes lined with bubble wrap except glass bottles and other fragile items which are sent in double walled cardboard post boxes.
Payment
We accept payment by PayPal. Refunds and other payments to customers are made through PayPal.
Returns Policy
You may return your purchase within fourteen days of receipt, unless otherwise stated in the listing. Please include your name, address, email address and eBay ID. As long as we judge the goods have been returned to us in an 'excellent resaleable condition' a 'no quibble' refund will be made. Sorry, we are not able to refund your postage and packing costs.
Unfortunately, we cannot give refunds if the goods are returned in a condition where we cannot resell them (unless they are faulty or damaged - see below for more details).
'Excellent resaleable condition' means:

Sealed products are still sealed

Unsealed and sealed products have not been used, tested or damaged

The product, packaging and container is in the same condition as was sent
We are careful in our listings to mention existing defects, in boxes, containers or products, and whether they are sealed or not.
If you return an item to us that we judge is not in an excellent resaleable condition you can request it is returned to you. We will inform you how much the postage and packaging will cost and when you have paid for the postage and packaging through PayPal, the item will be returned to you.
If the item you are returning is damaged during transit to us we will not be able to give you a refund, but you may make a claim for the damage against your delivery service provider. We will return the item to you, if requested.
Postage, Packing And Delivery
Usually, we do not charge for postage and packing in the UK. Occasionally, postage and packing is charged, usually on items of low value or very high value. This will be clearly stated in the listing.
Our products are posted Royal Mail First Class or by Royal Mail Special Delivery (requiring a signature) depending on their value. Goods under £34 are posted First Class. Goods £34 and over are posted Special Delivery.
We do charge for airmail services to the rest of Europe and state the price in each listing.
We usually post within two working days of clearance of payment, though often sooner.
Customers may request other postal services and we will advise them of additional costs.
Goods Lost In The Post
If your goods do not arrive please contact us so that we can make an investigation with Royal Mail. Please note that bank holidays and strikes by Royal Mail staff will increase delivery times. We always advise customers when we have posted their items. If we were to take a holiday (nice dream!) it would be clearly stated on our listings and in the shop when posting is to resume.
Goods Damaged In The Post
If the goods have been damaged in transit to you, please return the goods and the packaging to us so that we can make a claim against Royal Mail for the damage. Please include your name, address, email address and eBay ID. When we receive the goods and the packaging we will repay your postal and packaging charges into your PayPal account. A replacement will be sent to you after we have received the goods, or if a replacement is not available we will issue a full refund after we have received the goods.
Faulty Goods
If you receive an item that is faulty (and that fault or defect was not described in the listing) we would be very disappointed so please contact us so that we can remedy the situation.
We will replace an item that we agree is faulty, or if a replacement is not available we will give a full refund. We will require the goods to be returned to us. Please include your name, address, email address and eBay ID. We will pay the postage amount in to your PayPal account once we have received the goods. Refunds are paid or replacements are sent after we have received the goods.
