Terms And Conditions
1. Purchasing From Us
1.1 To purchase from us you must be resident in the United Kingdom. We cannot ship to locations outside the United Kingdom.
1.2 By submitting your order you are offering to buy goods and agreeing to our terms.
1.3 We are not obliged to supply goods to you until we have received payment in full.
2. Payment
2.1 We accept payment by credit card, PayPal and cheque.
2.2 If paying by cheque an extra 5 days will be added to the delivery time to allow the cheque to clear.
2.3 Cheques to be made payable to Cywood.
3. Delivery
3.1 Once your order has been processed and we have received cleared payment in full your order will be dispatched within 14 working days or sooner.
3.2 Due to 'Third Party' courier service we can not guarantee the day or time of delivery.
3.3 For all standard products if we are unable to deliver within 21 working days from cleared funds, then if you wish, you may cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you in full.
3.4 The purchaser should make arrangents to receive the goods on the day arranged for delivery. The goods must be signed for on receipt.
3.5 If you are not able to sign on receipt you must notify us before delivery to make other arrangements.
3.6 You may collect in person subject to arrangement.
4. Returns
4.1 All goods must be inspected for damage at time of delivery. Whenever possible goods must not be accepted if found to be damaged. In all events we must be notified within 48 hours of receipt if any damage has occured.
4.2 You have the right to cancel the purchase contract at any time up to '7 working days starting the day after delivery'. Please ensure that as well as your receipt you include a covering note giving details of the reason for the returning of goods. The original carriage cost will be refunded.
4.3 Non standard / made to measure products are excluded from the 7 day return policy.
4.4 Returned goods must be unused and where possible in the original packaging and in 'new' condition. We recommend that you retain all packaging until you are sure that you intend to keep the goods. If the original packaging is not available you should use packaging that would provide similar protection.
4.5 If you have ordered non-standard / made to measure doors or gates incorrectly we can not accept returns or refund any payment.
5. Warranty
5.1 All of our wooden garage doors and gates sold after 01.02.09 have a 3 year warranty against faulty workmanship.
5.2 We will warrant that all goods shall function in accordance with the items description.
5.3 In the event of a breach of this warranty we will correct the faulty part or send a replacement without charge.
5.4 Our warranty covers the cost of replacing the faulty product. It does not cover any expenses incurred as a result of replacing the product, such as fitting and finishing costs.
5.5 We will not accept responsibilty for any damage caused by incorrect assembly of fittings, incorrect hanging or lack of treatment to doors or gates.
5.6 We are unable to warranty against warping, shrinkage or splitting which can be caused by natural reactions to variations in humidity and temperature.
5.7 We will not reimburse any costs of repairs undertaken without our prior consent. Any such repairs will also invalidate your warranty.
5.8 We are unable to warranty any wooden garage door or wooden gate which has had any adjustment to its original dimensions.
5.9 Warrantees are paid at our discretion.
The above terms do not affect your statutory rights.
