Windband first started in 1987 has since grown to be one of a handful of successful woodwind and brass instrument specialist shops in the UK.

We stock most respected makes of woodwind and brass instruments including Aulos, Buffet, Pearl, Selmer Paris, Yamaha, Trevor James, Miyazawa, Mollenhauer, Yanagisawa, Leblanc and Vincent Bach.  As each product is checked prior to sale it is only rarely that we receive items back. However, due to a good relationship with all our suppliers and access to a team of specialised repairers, we can sort out any problems quickly and efficiently.

We carry a large range of music (including tutors, classical, popular, play along books with CD and syllabus music) and accessories (including Vandoren, Rico, Rovner, Denis Wick, BG and Hiscox). Our hire scheme for students of all ages is a very popular way of trying an instrument before commiting to purchase.

Christmas Holidays

We will be closed for Christmas from Thursday the 24th December until Friday the 1st January 2009 and will re-open on the 2nd.

You are welcome to continue to purchase items during this time but they will not be posted until Tuesday 5th January 2010.   I will try to answer questions even though I am not at home/work.
