Lost Parcels
Unfortunately, sometimes an item I send out may go missing in the post.
This page is to let you know what happens when you have a lost parcel.
Firstly, Royal Mail don't class an item as lost until 15 working days after expected day of delivery. I send all UK items first class, the expected delivery times for this are 1-3 days. So you will have to wait 15 WORKING days after the third day, after the day of posting, before you can contact Royal Mail.
After this time, please let me know if your item still hasn't turned up. I will then get a lost parcel claim form from the Post Office and fill it in for you - I ALWAYS obtain proof of postage.
I will gladly do all the form filling in for you, but I no longer refund from my own pocket. I don't refund a buyer until Royal Mail refunds me, and I will only refund you what Royal Mail sends me. This is because Royal Mail will want to contact you - the buyer - too, and if you don't respond to their letter, then there's a good chance that they will not send a refund.
So, you MUST agree to have your name, address, and email address on the form. If you do not respond to their letter, they most probably will NOT refund me, and in which case I will NOT refund you. So you must reply with all the information they need from you. Sorry, to sound harsh!
You also must agree to pay me again if the items ever do arrive, and I will then forward the cash back to Royal Mail.
If you do not agree to these things, I cannot claim for a lost item, and I will not be able to refund you.
Alternatively, I will gladly send you the proof of postage, and you can contact Royal Mail yourself.
