WELCOME TO VICTORIA SAWMILLS
History
Established in 1887, Victoria Sawmills is a family business and one of the largest independent timber merchants in the South-West. We are committed to ensure sustainability for the global and local environment, our customers and employees.
Our sister business, Clinton Gates, evolved from the original sawmilling and manufacturing facility in Merton. Victoria Sawmills stock their complete range of field, driveway and pedestrian gates.
Victoria Sawmills is an enterprise of Clinton Devon Estates who are exemplars in the principles of sustainability and environmental stewardship. This was recognised by their winning The Queens Award for Enterprise in the Sustainable Development category in 2005.
The Estate's 1900 hectares of FSC certified woodlands are carefully managed for bio-diversity and The East Devon Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust (EDPHCT) manages 2800 acres of pebblebed heathland to ensure that a sustainable plan is put in place to safeguard its future.
