CONTACT MAIL - If you have an enquiry please contact me via the eBay messaging system from your item pages, It is easier for me to manage your enquiry this way.

PAYMENT - can be made using: Pay pal, Personal Cheque (GBP) or Postal Orders should be made payable to UKET Ltd and sent to the address above. Paypal payment is my preferred and quickest method, although credit and debit card payments can be made over the phone if you prefer. Personal cheques & ebay E-cheques must clear before goods will be dispatched.

POSTAGE - All Items are usually posted the same day if payment is received before 2.30pm (Weekend purchases will be dispatched on Monday am or Tuesday if its a UK Bank Holiday). If you require a guaranteed special delivery or recorded delivery please specify this on checkout. I track and trace all items and everything is insured.

RETURNS - If you have a problem with the device and think its faulty, please initially contact me via the ebay messaging system or ring me, I will work with you to figure out what is going on. If we both agree that something needs to be sent back for a replacement or a refund, please send it to the address above and I will be in touch as soon as it arrives..

DISTANCE SELLING - If you have changed your mind regarding the purchase of the item or it simply does not meet your requirement I will refund the full cost less any original & subsequent postage costs for upto 7 days after the date of despatch to you. Please ensure that you always return items with the original invoice or print out of the order from ebay. I need to keep our records in order to process them, you will appreciate how important this is to process things quickly! All items must be returned in the original undamaged packaging..

FEEDBACK- You will appreciate that I try my best to maintain the best feedback score I can, this is achieved by working with customers rather than against them. I automatically give positive feedback when a payment is received. So please let me know if you are not happy for any reason. For any online purchase to go smoothly it deserves co-operation from both parties and the understanding that sometimes human/technical/natural/emotional forces also come into place. So with this in mind I do not know why any transaction would go wrong, communication is as key as your custom..

Who are you ?
Hi, my name is David and i started selling on ebay when i was made redundant from full time work in 2006, my previous job in IT development was outsourced to India. I decided that commuting to Hyderabad from Manchester was a little too far and my impression of the emerging cut throat ethics and globalization of the IT industry was not good! My daughter and Wife also thought that it was time for a change.. Having always been an ebay user (since 2002) and always having the desire to set up a business i started selling online... Over the last year, i have increased my product range and it is going well, i get the opportunity to spend time with my family and work when I (or you) need me too. I see ebay as the 21st century cottage industry and it really has enabled people like myself to set up a business.

 

I see that UKeTraders a Gold Powerseller whats that then?
A Powerseller on ebay is someone who has been assessed by Ebay. Every month, eBay calculates member sales data and identifies those who are eligible to be invited to the PowerSeller programme. To qualify, members must: Uphold the eBay community values, including honesty, timeliness and mutual respect, Comply with all eBay listing and marketplace policies Achieve an overall Feedback rating of 100, of which 98% or more is positive


What postal services do you offer.?
I do use Royal Mail, so at the moment I can offer 1st class, recorded and Special Delivery. We also post Royal Mail Airsure for overseas. We despatch items daily, All Items are usually posted the same day if payment is received before 2.00pm (weekend purchases will be dispatched on Monday am or Tuesday if its a UK Bank Holiday). If you require a guaranteed special delivery or recorded delivery please specify this on checkout. I track and trace recorded, special and airsure for all items.

 

If you do have an urgent requirement please select special delivery on the checkout and let me know.. Also be aware that whilst i try my hardest to get things out to you as fast as i can, i do rely on our postal services provider to get things to you on time, there are lots of factors that we need to rely on for things to go smoothly.

 

Okay I've seen something i want, how can i pay ?
Find the listing you wanted and go to the checkout select your preferred option  - Payment can be made using: Pay pal, Credit card (Via pay pal - account not needed select the I'm new to paypal link and enter details), Personal Cheque (GBP) or Postal Order. Paypal payment is our preferred and quickest method. Personal cheques must clear before goods will be dispatched. please make payable to David Grant. I cannot accept credit card details by email/telephone or post via ebay, although if you visit our uket website we accept all credit and debit cards in a secure system powered by Worldpay & Paypal. Try to avoid sending cash in the post if you can..

Are you Vat registered?
Yes, all purchases will have an invoice sent out with them for your records and all prices include VAT.

 

Can we buy in bulk ?
Yes, if you see a product you like either on ebay, or on our website. Please get in touch, i am more than happy to supply other businesses and individuals. I can even arrange branded designs for you, with printing if it is needed.


I'm not far from Manchester can i come and collect?
Unfortunately we cannot provide this service at we are not insured for it. Sorry about that, but it keeps our prices low .. We Ship items fast & We aim to please.

If you have an enquiry please contact us via the eBay messaging system from the item pages, it is so much easier for us to manage your enquiry this way as we can match up your user id and any history to your order and other messages from you. I will attempt to reply as soon as possible, bear in mind i do like to have a break over the weekend as well.

 

How do I send you something (returns & payment).
If you have a return (or a payment), please contact me first to let us know via the ebay messaging system. We also ask you to include a copy of the purchase details with your ebay user name, item number and something that helps us match the item up. If this isn't received there will be a small delay while we try and figure out what and who posted something to me (YES it happens !).

 

What if i don't pay?

We have a fully automated system that manages the purchasing of items on ebay and this includes payment reminders, so you will hear from us within a week of none payment. If we don't receive a payment in 10 days, we do invoke ebay's official automated payment reminder. Non paying buyers will get an unpaid item strike if we hear nothing at all. If there is a genuine problem, then we can get involved and ensure that no strike is given.

It is all about communication though and fairness on both sides. The main reason for us is that for every item we do or don't sell ebay takes a percentage. So if someone doesn't pay we lose out, the official ebay reminders will ensure that we get our listing refund and the agreement made between buyer and seller is completed satisfactorily and fairly.

 

Feedback.
There are a lot of changes with feedback on ebay, i am not totally convinced they are all fair, but it is as near as you can get for us all to see who you want to buy from.. I work very hard at trying to keep everyone happy, at times it is very hard and is just not possible sometimes for whatever reason, there is always a cause (and the cause is not always down to me).. I have dealt with some wonderful people whilst i have been selling on ebay and i hope that my feedback represents my efforts well, i aim to keep my DSR (Detailed Seller Ratings) as high as possible. I promptly leave positive feedback for you when it is given and i know you are pleased with your purchase.

 

I would always ask any buyer to contact me via the ebay messaging system, if they do have a concern about the transaction, if they are thinking of a neutral or a negative comment, this is only fair to give me the opportunity to sort it out.. Please remember that your comments do effect my business both negatively and positively.
