We have done our very best to describe our products in as much detail as possible.
If there is something you think is missing, please email us and these details will be added to our product descriptions.
Be sure to read any detail descriptions of products and print options before purchasing, as the main title does not, and cannot, cover all details regarding the quality, finish and content of each item.
If you are unhappy with the content of the product, or the chosen print option for orders, you will not receive a refund. Inefficiency in reading our product descriptions in no fault on our behalf.
To see our print options in the flesh before purchasing, simply contact us for some samples.
On printed products, please be aware that colours may differ slightly to what you see on your proof. The errors on the colouring will not be a result of printing, but a result of viewing on your monitor. Colours vary from screen to screen, and we will not be held responsible for any differences in colours from your screen to the prints. If any colour differences do occur, they will only be slight.
Our computer is collaborated to that of our printer's therefore colour and brightness settings on your computer can make the proof look different to that which is printed. If you require a sample before you agree to the printing of your design, this can be arranged.
- Our printers do not colour match against a previous sample
- Digital Presses can vary by up to 5% on the colour output
- Different presses may create slight variations on colour output
Is your colour correct? Compared to what?
The digital printers are industrial strength, ran by professional printers and monitored for correct output using spectrophotometer. It might well be the case that the colour does not match your expectation, for one of the following reasons:
Your Monitor: Monitors output colour in RGB, our print uses CMYK, these our two quite different colour palettes. Some colours will translate well, others will not. In addition, professional graphic designers calibrate their monitors to improve the colour representation, but still depend on pantone colour swatches and printed proofs to ensure the colour is correct.
Colour Swatch: A colour swatch is generally a pantone colour, you may also have printed materials lithographically printed using pantones. A pantone is an ink made specifically to match a colour, just like Dulux paint. Pantone offers a wide range of colours including neons and metallics. Digital presses used processed colours, that is all colours are made up of a combination of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. Most colours will match very well, some not so well, and others like neon and metallic cannot be matched at all, i.e Silver is Grey.
Local Desktop Printer: The presses are much more likely to be correct than a desktop printer.
We cannot be responsible for any difference in the printing of your final printed item (including colour and picture quality), and refunds will not be awarded for printing issues. If you want to check the quality of the printing before hand a sample can be sent out to you. Please allow 7 days for the sample to be recieved.
If you feel there is an issue with the quality of the photographs on your design, this will be due to the quality of the original photographs sent through. We enhance them to the best of our ability, but if full resolution files, or poor quality photographs, are sent through there may not be much we can do to solve this. Those designs hugely affected will likely be discussed with the designer before printing. All colours and images are printed exact, and colour quality and definition is very precise. Again refund will not be issued where a proof has been confirmed. To prevent the unlikelyhood of you not being happy with your final printed items, please request a sample before. Use of Photographs
- You certify that you are the parent or guardian or have obtained the consent of the parent or guardian of the baby/babies or child/children whose photos you are submitting.
- You certify that you own the rights to the photograph you are submitting.
- If submitting a professional photo, you certify that you have obtained permission from the photographer to duplicate that image for the purposes of creating a Birth Announcement/Invitation/Christmas Card.
- We are not responsible for photographs lost during transit. Consider making duplicates of your photographs before sending them to us.
- We are not responsible for delays in shipping at the fault of the Royal Mail Postal Service.
This Is Your Memory, accepts major credit cards through the PayPal service. PayPal encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to their system using SSL. Please visit www.paypal.com to view their privacy policy and conditions documents.
All cheques or postal orders should be made payable to Mrs Burton.
Due to the personalized nature of photo cards, all sales are final and returns will not be accepted. It is the customer's responsibility to check proofs.
This includes accuracy of all details going to print. Any mistakes will not be rectified without further costs to the customer.
Please be aware that due to different computer set ups, the colour of your invite may vary slightly when printed due to the colour you see on your monitor.
Our monitors are configurated to that of the printers
By giving your final approval on your proof, you certify that all information is correct.
Should an error occur on our behalf, please contact us by no later than 7 working days in order that we can rectify the matter.
We are not responsible for delayed or lost items during transit. All orders are sent Recorded delivery or Special delivery, and your tracking number can be made available to you on request.
We dispatch all orders on the day they are ready. All orders are sent via first class recorded post, unless special delivery is chosen, taking on average 1-2 working days. This is not a guaranteed service, and we cannot be held responsible for these turnaround times. Once dispatched your order is out of our hands. For a guaranteed service select special delivery, which will be with you the next working day before 1pm.
The Royal Mail does not class first class recorded items as lost until 15 days after dispatch, so please allow this amount of time for your order to arrive. If after 15 working days your order has still not arrived we will provide you with the tracking number and any other information required to place a claim with the Royal Mail to request compensation. To avoid this scenario altogether, select Special Delivery.
When agreeing that the prints can go to print, the following statement must be included in your email.
I hereby agree that my final design can be sent to the printed. By giving my final approval on my proof, I certify that all information, design, layout and clarity of pictures are correct, and that I have read and understood the terms and conditions.
Without the above text in your approval email we are unable to order your products.
All designs are created from scratch therefore very piece of text is copied from the information you have provided, or in the case of poems and verses that appear on the designs, they are typed from new.
Please note we do not proof read the design. As the Buyer we are sure that only you know what wording you want, therefore we leave it up to the customer to check every piece of text.
When you agree for the design to go to print you are also agreeing that every part of the design meets with your satisfaction including the clarification of the pictures, design and layout and wording.
Your item will be printed on the requested finish either gloss or Matt as requested on your information request.
No compensation is given to designs printed when the proof has been okayd by the customer, whatever the error.
As we do state we do not proof read the designs. By giving your final approval on your proof, you certify that all information is correct, and that you have read and understood the terms and conditions of your purchase.
Order cancellation is dependent upon the design stage.
Orders cannot be cancelled once the proof has been approved and sent to print.
Should you wish to cancel the order up to this point, there will be an administration cost of £2.50.
Failure to pay either the final invoice or the administration cost will result in an Ebay failure to pay notice, where the initial cost of the ordered item will be retrieved.

It is against the law to modify, publish, transmit, transfer, sell, reproduce, create derivative work from, distribute, display or in any way commercially exploit any of its contents.

It is expressly prohibited to modify and reuse a photo card design for subsequent announcements, invitations, holiday cards or the like.
Imitation is the highest form of flattery, so please be aware that our portfolio can be viewd by anyone, and we are fully aware that our designs are replicated as are our products.
As the original creator of the Godparent certificates, there are now other companies now replicating these.
You only have to see our feedback, that our unique designs, attention to detail, excellent customer service, and top quality products speak for themselves.

Security for all personally identifiable information is extremely important to us at This Is Your Memory, and our privacy policy is very simple. Under no circumstances will we ever sell, trade, or distribute your private information to a third party. The information you provide us with is used solely for the fulfilment of your order. We occasionally will use our clients' proofs on our website for advertising and promotional purposes, but we will not do so unless we have your permission. We also will never use last names in client testimonials.
