1. Make sure you have the following:
A Spring Bar Remover
Your watch.
A Pair of new Spring Bars/Watch Pins |
2. Take your Spring Bar Remover in one hand,
your watch in the other, place the forked end of the tool in between the
strap and the watch, gripping the flange gently squeeze down. |
3. You will here a "pop" sound as the
Spring bar comes free, hold the strap and pull gently out of its hole.
Take care not to let the Spring Bar, spring away! |
| 4. Once you have the Spring Bar out, remove the
spring bar from the strap with a gentle pull, you can use pliers if this
is stiff.. This only applies to standard Spring Bars. |
5. Take your new Spring Bar and insert it into
your new strap, aligning the strap with the watch prongs and making sure
one end of the Spring Bar fits into a hole on one side. |
6. To fit the remaining side of the Spring Bar,
use the Spring Bar Remover Tool to contract the Spring Bar whilst maneuvering
the bar towards its hole. when it pops in, You're done, new strap! |
