Herb and Spice Containers stocked by The Spice Cellar
In the above pictures you can see the four most common herb and spice containers that we use from the Steenbergs Organics Range - Each container is packed by volume but the contents weight can vary immensely depending on the product and therefore the weight declared in the listing is approximate and can vary by a few grams each way, however the true weight will always be on the package you receive - You are welcome to contact me first if you want to know the precise weight of the item you will receive.
Best Before End Dates - All products have a Best Before End date clearly displayed on the label as well as batch code and country of origin
Standard Glass Jar - Our most used pack style that contains from 20 grams to 100 grams approximately depending on the volume of the product. Glass base with a metal lid, can be refilled or both parts are fully recyclable. Tamper proof seal to the lid.
Mini Glass Jar - These mini jars are perfect for those rare herbs and spices where a little goes a long way. They are glass with a metal lid and whilst all the same size can contain from 1 gram up to 40 gram of product
Steel Jar or Premium Pack - These are stylish stainless steel containers that hold a larger quantity of product than the standard glass jar. They have a clear acrylic insert in the lid so you can see the product and the lid twists off. Not all herbs and spices are available in this type of pack as some of them do not like the metal! Tamper proof seal to the lid
Tubes - Aluminium cigar tube pack which is used to hold the fragrant organic vanilla pods - Contents is one pod.
Tea - Packed in tins with a hinged lid - Tea is supplied sealed in a poly bag to maintain freshness.
Extracts - Brown glass bottles with metal lid containing 100ml of product, can be refilled or both parts are fully recyclable. Tamper proof seal to the lid.
Refill Bags - Food grade poly grip seal bag containing specified weight of product - To maintain the flavour of the product these should be transferred to one of the above container types on delivery.
