ABALONE

Abalone is not a crystal or gemstone but is a shell from the family that includes clams and scallops. It is very beneficial for its calming effect upon our emotions and is useful for healing the pain of joint disorders, arthritis, heart problems, high blood pressure and also muscle problems. Often people will also use Abalone to promote psychic awareness, psychic development and intuition. It will also inspire creativity and positive thinking. Agate is a protective stone, especially for children. It increases creativity so is great for the minds of children. BLUE LACE AGATE

AGATE, MOSS

Moss agate is a stone of prosperity and good fortune so is popular with more or less everyone. I find it very useful when treating patients who have addictive behaviours or low self esteem. If you want to give up smoking, drinking etc then this is the stone for you, it offers support when you need it the most and lets face it we have all been there from time to time. By wearing or carrying a Moss agate it is said that you will attract many friendships. It is also very useful for plants so is often called the gardeners stone, it makes gardens bloom and potted plants remain strong and healthy. It is also useful for healing and will improve circulation and helps with digestion. I give moss agate to patients that have very low self esteem because it works on the heart chakra and really gives them a good kick up the back side

AJOITE

Ajoite is a wonderful crystal but hard to find and very expensive. I have also seen man made stuff so be very very careful when buying Ajoite. It helps you connect to angels and other beings from higher spiritual planes. Ajoite will quickly remove dysfunctional energy and will also remove alien implants of all kinds. Ajoite emanates a really nice, soft nurturing energy which is cleansing for the aura and also heart and throat chakra. Ajoite contains copper so it is ideal for treat the pain of arthritis and all other pain within the body

AMAZONITE

Amazonite will align the physical and astral bodies and is very healing for osteoporosis, heart disease and the nervous system. It is said to be very protective during pregnancy and helps eliminate labour pains. Amazonite is also used to remove and treat emotional disturbances which may have been caused in this life time or from a previous life. Perfect for past life recall and inner child work, bringing clarity of mind and wisdom, helping you to manifest you inner most desires whilst heightening intellectual abilities. Amber is very good at cleansing the environment in which it is placed and will draw out and disperse all forms of negative energies, it will also shield you from psychic attack. Often Amber is included in love charms and mojo bags to inspire romance, love and sensuality. As an essence Amber will help heal wounds quicker because it is a natural antibiotic. A crystal that is well known for being able to treat people with addictive behaviours, addictions etc and many people have been able to give up smoking and drinking using this wonderful crystal. ANGEL PHANTOM QUARTZ

Angel phantom quartz is also known as amphibole quartz. It is a beautiful variety of quartz found in Brazil that contains inclusions of other metaphysically significant minerals including tremolite, actinolite, hornblende, riebeckite and richterite. A great crystal for motivation and self-esteem, Carnelian is wonderful for creativity and for manifesting your own desires, for individuality and also courage. It will also rejuvenate skin tissue and re new cells so is popular in essence form and then applied to the skin to remove and minimise wrinkles etc and is excellent in healing dermatological ailments such as psoriasis and acne. Carnelian can also help with grief, anger and fear, calming and removing any sorrows that are stopping you from moving forward in your life. It is a perfect crystal to help with rheumatism pains, colds, gall stones, pollen allergies and also kidney stones. It is also believed to be quite a good stone for luck and is also said to attract the opposite sex to you for romance. Carnelian is a great choice of crystal for meditation and can also help with astral travel, lucid dreaming and the recall of past lives. Perfect for menstrual cramps, fertility issues and other problems associated with the lower abdomen. CAVANSITE

Cavansite will greatly enhance intuition and channelling abilities. It also removes unwanted thoughts and behaviour. Copper is a perfect conductor of energy, from electricity to the mystical subtle energies emanating from higher planes so will enhance and also transmit thoughts, even over very long distances. Copper is also used for relieving pain and is especially good for relieving the pain of arthritis which is why the copper healing bracelets are so popular. Copper creates and stimulates a powerful energy so would be excellent to use if you suffer with fatigue, it stimulates fertility in both males and females. It is useful for pulling toxins out of the body and would be good for anyone with anaemia or any other blood disorders. Copper creates a powerful shield of protection around the aura so any negative energies just rebound off the shield, it can also protect from psychic attack. Copper not only stimulates the flow of energy but also removes energy blockages that may have built up over years, just by using this wonderful pendant you will notice the difference in your energy field within minutes. Danburite is a wonderful crystal which omits a powerful flow of energy. Danburite will also connect you to sources of higher wisdom such as contact with Angels and other light workers, it will also help you to attain information from the Akashic Records. If you charge a Danburite crystal it can remain charged for quite some time so would be useful for Reiki therapists and other energy workers. After a crystal healing session I always give my patient a charged Danburite crystal which will continue to give healing and support long after their healing session is over.

GOLDSTONE

Goldstone will generate positive energies whilst deflecting negative ones and contains the exact metaphysical properties of copper and also pyrite even though it is a manmade glass which contains pyrite flakes. It was originally created by French monks hundreds of years ago for healing and protection on all physical, emotional and spiritual levels. It places a powerful barrier of protection around the aura and greatly increases energy, it is said to ward off all forms of negativity. It is very useful when treating arthritic pain and will strengthen the circulatory system and will also strengthen bones. It is ofetn used as an amulet to ward off evil and negative energies and is also said to be protective of travellers. Goldstone will also enhance psychic awareness and it resonates with the energies of the higher planes so is excellent for contacting angels and guardian spirits.

HEMATITE

Hematite will deflect negative energies and will balance your mind, body and soul. It is perfect for treating blood disorders such as haemophilia, anaemia, heart, kidney and liver diseases, cardio-vascular weakness, menstrual cramps, and nose bleeds. Tigers Eye is also excellent for insomnia and will align the spine so is very useful with any type of back injury. Hematite works on the root chakra so is very grounding and will help you to think logically and is ideal for students who are studying mathematics, it certainly helps me to get my head around all my tax returns thats for sure. Hematite can also be used to ease jet lag and travel sickness.

HERKIMER DIAMOND

Herkimer Diamond is called the "stone of attunement". While it is not actually diamond, it is a quartz that often resembles the sparkling clarity of diamonds. It can be metaphysically programmed to attune one to an environment, a situation, a quality, or most anything. It is said to assist with balance on the mental, emotional and physical levels. It can be used effectively to clear and open any chakra. It is professed to relieve tension and thereby promote peace of mind. Psychically, it's useful for auric cleansing and dream recall. Mystical lore says that physically it can be used to heal addictions and remove toxins. Herkimer Diamond is associated with the crown chakra.

HOWLITE

Howlite is often overlooked but it is a really wonderful crystal to work with. It heightens creativity and will calm the mind. It is also useful for pain and cramps in the lower part of the legs. Howlite will also amplify energy and will also amplify the energy of other gemstones and crystals.

JET

Jet holds a wonderful smooth and gentle energy and is an old time favourite for witches and wizards. Jet also has extremely intense protective and purification energies which are great for clearing the aura of negative energies. Jet absorbs any type of negative energy which include environmental pollutions and harmful emissions from computers, televisions, microwaves and cell phones etc so it is a good idea to scatter a few around your home to soak up these negative energies. Using Jet will also allow inner negative thought patterns to be released so it is a great stone to use if you suffer with depression or any type of addictions. Perfect for spell work, meditation and healing.

KUNZITE

Kunzite is said to help one to understand and interact better with others, to help heal "broken hearts", to relieve stress and anger, and to bring love, peace and harmony. It is also a stone that removes obstacles. Kunzite is said to help strengthen the circulatory system, and to be helpfull in the treatment of lung disorders. Kunzite is associated with the heart chakra.

KYANITE

Kyanite is a stone of channeling, altered states, vivid dreams, dream recall, and visualizations. It gives protection during these states. It brings loyalty, honesty and tranquility, and diminishes anger and confusion. Kyanite does not retain negative energy and never needs energetic cleansing. It does align and balance all chakras, often very suddenly. Kyanite can remove energy blockages. Green Kyanite is particularly good for balancing the heart chakra and maintaining heart balance. Blue kyanite is associated with the throat chakra and is a boost to meditation. Black kyanite is also a boost to meditation, and is associated with the root chakra. Black kyanite is also very protective and deflects negativity.

LAPIS LAZULI

Lapis will greatly increase psychic awareness, creativity, self-confidence and also communication skills. Lapis will help you to spiritually connect not only to universal energies but also allows you to experience the energies of the highr realms so is excellent when communicating with spirit guide and angels etc. Lapis is said to protect you from both physical and also psychic attacks, it will transform and disperse negative energies into the universe love. I love Lapis because it helps me become more organised, I tend to be a bit messy and my office is sometimes like a bomb site but a few days with the Lapis seems to sort that out. Lapis is excellent for pain relief and is great for backache, headaches and period pains and cramps. Often called the stone of heaven Lapis is just a wonderful all round healing stone but is probably best known for its psychic connections. Lapis is comprised of mainly Lazulite and pyrite, the Lazulite being an intense blue and the Pyrite either gold flecks or veins that run through the Lazulite which make it really quite a pretty stone. The deep blue of the Lapis resonates with the brow and throat chakras whilst the Gold Pyrite works on the root chakra. I have also had some great meditations with Lapis because it takes you places you have never been before, go on try it and see...

MERLINITE

Merlinite is a stone of pure magic that perfectly blends the lower Earth energies with the higher Heavenly energies, allowing us the capabilities to access multiple realms so is an excellent choice of stone to use if you need access to the Akashic Records. Merlinite is a favourite with Wizards, Shaman and Alchemists because it helps one to access hidden knowledge whilst drawing upon the powers of the elemental forces. It is also said to hold the imprint and combined knowledge of all the Wizards, Shaman and Alchemists that came before us. It is a great stone to choose if you have very low negative though patterns or you have any old behaviour patterns that you wish to remove or indeed change because it will quickly transform the negative into the positive. Merlinite balances feminine and masculine energies, the conscious with the subconscious, intellect with intuition so makes this a very powerful stone for healing on all levels. It is also a great stone to use for healing past life or present life trauma. Merlinite is excellent when used for meditation or trance work because it allows access to multiple realms like the Astral, Akashic, Heavenly dimensions whilst facilitating awareness and clarity of mind on multidimensional levels.

PERIDOT

Peridot greatly strengthens ESP abilities and will form a shield of protection around the body which is quite a powerful barrier against negative energies. Peridot can be used through pregnancy and even for childbirth as a pain reliever because it assists with birth, rebirth and renewal of all kinds. Peridot is also said to keep balance and harmony in a relationship so is often used to ensure a happy marriage. Peridot resonates with the heart chakra to bring love, healing, compassion and calm. Peridot is also very cleansing and good for the removal of stagnant energy and toxins.

PREHNITE

Prehnite is a very protective stone and can protect one on all levels. It strengthens the life force and generally increases and stimulates energy, while at the same time bringing powerful calming energies. Thus, prehnite is said to ease worries and restlessness of all kinds. It aids spirit communication through meditation or visualization, out-of-body travel, and is a powerful dream stone. Prehnite is also known as a stone of prophecy which stimulates inner-knowing. Physically, prehnite is helpful in the healing of gout, anemia, and kidney problems.

PYRITE

Pyrite is very protective and can be used to block and shield you from the negative energies of other people or places. Pyrite is quite reflective and is like a mirror so quickly deflects the negative energies, is also energising for the aura because it creates a large energy field within the aura itself. Pyrite is also said to protect you from the common cold and flu virus. Great for those who want to enhance memory and communication skills and is also healing for bones and cell diseases. This stone is also said to ease the transitions between life and death and many people like to place one of these stones in the coffins of their loved ones. Rose Quart is also an excellent healing stone for weight loss, fertility and sexual dysfunctions, headaches and migraines, kidnet diseases and also fibromyalgia. SAPPHIRE

Sapphire one of the best stones to use in psychic, healing, and spiritual activities. It can open one to psychic talents and expand them, and is excellent for use on the 3rd eye and crown chakras. It was used in thin sheets by the ancient Vikings as a "lens" to see during their ocean voyages, as the world's first polarising filter, and is often known as the Viking stone. SCHORL, BLACK TOURMALINE

Black Tourmaline is also known as Schorl and is associated with the root chakra so it is very grounding. It is able to remove negative energies with ease from an individual or environment and once the negative energies have been dispelled it will then deflect it from returning which is what makes this such a popular crystal to use for powerful protection. It is also said to repel black magick and will return the negative spell to the sender. Black Tourmaline I find can also take you to a level of higher awareness so would be great for psychics and those who seek psychic awareness. I have a piece next to my computers because it deflects the radiation, can also be used with mobile phones, DVD players, television sets etc etc. This is also a good crystal to strengthen the immune system and would help with gout, heart disease, panic attacks, fatigue and also arthritis. You can make an aura cleanser by placing Black Tourmaline in a glass of water overnight and then adding the water to a spray, mist bottle which you can use on your body or environment, you will really notice a big difference too. Seraphinite (serafina, chlinochlore) is often referred to an an angel stone because of its higher energies and relationship with angels. Seraphinite is said to help contact angels and communicate with them. Psychically, seraphinite is beneficial for intuition and psychic awareness. This stone can be very protective of the heart chakra when used over this chakra, and is helpful for sending unconditional love. Silver Topaz is a very powerful healing crystal that will help with depression, increasing energy and self-esteem by replacing the negative energies with vibrant positive ones. It also helps us to communicate with animals, plants and beings from other spiritual realms and is used widely for communication with Angels. Silver Topaz works well with any chakra and is cleansing to the aura, pulling stagnant energy and toxins to the surface for healing and release. I also find Tigers Eye is excellent for unlocking creative thoughts and is nice when used with meditation. Tigers Eye is very good for treating depression and stress related disorders because it slows down the flow of energy through the body so will bring a perfect balance between mental and physical health. I have a friend who uses Tigers Eye for divination and swears that it is by far the best stone for scrying and other kinds of vision work. Tigers Eye will work on the 3rd eye chakra to enhance psychic awareness and will also work on the root chakra to stimulate the rise of kundalini energy. UNAKITE
