SPEC PURCHASE BLINDS

These blinds have all been manufactured for specific customers, who have then cancelled their orders. They are brand new, never used, and are hugely expensive to buy from the top end Home furnishings retailers

This is your opportunity to purchase a true top class product at bargain Ebay prices.

Can the width be reduced to fit my window?

Yes - up to a point!!

Metal and wooden venetians have control mechanisms in the headrail, and so can only be reduced in width to the point where the mechanisms are placed.

As a rule they can be reduced by up to 10cm (5cm on each side).

For wooden venetians you will need a hacksaw and a sharp wood saw.

For metal venetians you will need a hacksaw for the top and bottom rail and a slat cutter (always available from The Bargain Blind shop - put it in the search box). This will provide the right profile on the end of each slat and automatically cut them to length.

Can the drop be reduced to fit my window?

The drop is described as a maximum (normally 160cm) This does not need to be reduced as, with a venetian blind, the "unfolded slats" remain at the bottom of the blind.

The drop of your window is not important as long as the window drop is not LONGER than the maximum drop of the blind.

With very short drops, in some cases, there may be quite a lot of "unfolded slats" at the bottom of the blind. This will not affect the operation of the blind.

How does the mechanism work?

There are cords to pull the blind up and down at the right of the blind

There is a twist wand to alter the angle of the slats at the left of the blind.
