Children's Measurements |
|
Please choose a size from below size
chart (Not required for custom cut order).
Rules to follow: If unsure or
your child falls between sizes work to their fullest measurement and always
buy bigger. Its much easier to have a dress taken in than let out. Shoe heel
height can make a difference !! and please do not buy purely based on the
child’s age.

A, Chest - Measure around
the fullest part of your child’s chest. |
|
|
|
B, Waist - This is your
child’s natural waist, below the rib cage and just above the hip bones, NOT
the fullest part of the tummy. The tape measure should sit just above the
tummy button. |
|
|
|
C, Shoulder to Hem -
Taken from the shoulder over the apex of the bust, allow the tape to drop to
the floor. It is important not to pull the tape tight when taking
measurements. Do not add to the measurements to compensate for shoes to be
worn. We will adjust the gown with the shoe measurements given separately. |
|
Height – All children’s
dresses measure different lengths, so please be sure to measure them in a
shoe that resembles the heel height you wish them to wear on the day,
Childrens dresses should sit approx 3-6" off the floor to prevent tripping
when walking. |
