Buyer FAQ and shop policies
When will I receive my item?
Although we aim to send within 24 hours of receipt of your cleared payment, please allow up to 3 working days for despatch. Saturday and Sunday are not classed as working days. Please bear in mind e-cheques take around 10 days to clear.
How will it be sent?
We use Royal Mail for small and medium sized items and courier/parcel force for bulky ones. Delivery method should be stated in the listing. If you require an item by a specific date or want a particular service, please let us know before making your purchase.
Do you accept returns?
Yes - see below
Unwanted items/items purchased in error
In line with ebay regulations, buyers have a 14 day "cooling off" period from date of delivery during which the item can be returned for any reason. If you wish to make a return you must inform us AND get the item back to us within that timescale. The cost of returning the item will be borne by the buyer and items are the responsiblity of the buyer until received by us. Items must be returned in a re-saleable condition for a full refund including original carriage.
What if my item arrives faulty or is damaged in transit?
We understand this can be upsetting so you should contact us as soon as the problem is discovered. If you think the item is faulty, please contact us with a full description of the fault. We will require the item to be returned for our inspection. Upon confirmation of fault/damage, we will issue a replacement or refund. Any reasonable cost incurred will be refunded.
What if my item is out of stock?
This is a rare occurrence but we’re only human and sometimes things can and do go wrong! We will contact you immediately and offer an equivalent replacement or refund.
What happens if my item does not arrive?
Don’t panic! Initially, please check with your main post office to ensure that they haven’t tried to make delivery.
Delivery methods and estimated delivery times should be stated in the listing. These are guidelines taken from the Royal Mail website and we cannot guarantee their performance, particularly at busy times.
Please consider the following missing parcel guidelines from Royal Mail
Domestic Mail – 15 working days before an item is considered lost
Overseas Mail – 25 working days before an item is considered lost
We follow up all reported missing items with a claim to Royal Mail who may contact you to confirm non receipt.
If your item requires a signature, please ensure someone is there to provide one. Normally, there will be two delivery attempts and cards left before the item is returned to us. You will be invoiced if we have to re-send.
