Choosing your Gripfast Glove size
To ensure a proper fit:
• Measure your hand with a tape measure around the knuckles of your hand (indicated by the red line in the illustration on your right).
• Measure your dominant hand - the right if you are right-handed, and the left if you are left-handed.
• Refer to the table below and choose your size. If in doubt, go for a smaller glove rather than a bigger one, as they'll always give a bit when wet. • Ladies & children with narrow hands are advised to choose a size smaller than everyday gloves. The wristband with adjustable Velcro strap (not Frostbite) will allow you to get a snug fit around the wrist.
Ensuring the right size isn't an exact science, so if they don't fit properly we're happy to exchange them.

Glove care
All of our gloves will stand up to a lot of abuse - they are not fashion items, after all!
Leather gloves will stiffen as they dry, particularly if they've been used in salt water. This can make putting them on again quite difficult, though a rinse under the tap will soon soften them up again and make the job easier. Washing them in warm soapy water and allowing them to dry before you put them away will keep them softer, too.
Amara gloves are pretty bulletproof and won't stiffen as they dry to anything like the same degree. A rinse under the tap won't go amiss now and again if you use them in salt water but if, like us, you leave them in the bottom of the boat or in a bag with a soggy wetsuit for a week or two, they won't come to any harm!
