PAYMENT:
UK buyers: Payment by Paypal, cheque, postal order or direct bank transfer. International buyers: Payment UK Sterling Paypal only. Please complete checkout make payment within seven days. Unpaid item disputes are issued automatically if payment is not recevied within four days. Disputes are closed and strikes are issued by eBay if no payment is received afer eight days. When paying by cheque or postal order, please include the item number with your payment, making cheques payable to "Scene Dead".
POSTAGE:
Orders are processed immediately upon payment and are dispatched daily Monday to Friday. Most UK items are received within one-three working days; International items are usually received within 5-10 working days. Delivery times will vary according to the postage method selected by the buyer at checkout:
Free postage is offered on selected items. Free postage items are sent using Royal Mail Second Class delivery, which usually take around 2-4 working days. Faster postage methods are offered on listings, so please feel free to select an alternative postage method where necessary.
First Class Recorded Delivery items usually arrive within 1-2 working days. Recorded delivery items will require a signature upon delivery.
Next Day Special Delivery is offered for when express delivery is required. To receive Special Delivery items on the next working day, orders need to be placed and payments made before midday. Special delivery items will require a signature upon delivery.
Postage discounts are given on multiple purchases when made within a seven day period and paid for all together. Please see listings for full details of postage discounts. International buyers please contact us for a combined invoice, we try to offer the best postage rate possible. Postage and packing charges are priced according to item weight and also include the cost of packing materials and delivery overheads. Postage charges are non-negotiable; by placing a bid / making a purchase, you are accepting the postage cost for the item.
For international deliveries, please allow up to 28 days for customs delays and please note that you are responsible for any duties/tariffs that may be applicable on your delivery. Items being sent outside of the EU are sent with full and accurate customs documentation.
Please remember that we send items as soon as possible and we are not responsible for delivery times once an item has been dispatched.
LOST/LATE MAIL:
While most of our items are received within three working days, there can be hold ups along the way, so we ask customers to wait for up to a week before contacting us. We notify our customers by email when their item is dispatched and we ask customers to check with their local sorting office if they have not received their item within seven days (14 days for International customers). If you are not home when your postie tries to deliver your item, the parcel will be taken to your local sorting office ready for you to collect. If it is not collected it will be returned to us. Since you would have failed to collect your first delivery in spite of our delivery notice telling you to check your sorting office, we will ask you to submit a second postage payment for us to resend your item.
If your item has not arrived within 15 working days, unless there is a Roal Mail strike, it will be considered lost in the post. In such instances we will need you to work with us to file a claim with Royal Mail and we will provide you with a replacement (or refund where no suitable replacement is available). During Royal Mail strike periods delivery times may take 7-10 days longer.
In the rare event of an item being received damaged, please contact us immediately for a replacement. Please note that all items are thoroughly quality checked prior to despatch. Where applicable and where agreed, for refunds of returns postage of faulty goods we need to see post office receipts and copies of recorded delivery counterfoils in order for such refunds to be processed.
RETURNS:
We strive to list items as accurately as possible and we check items thoroughly before sending; we want all of our customers to be delighted with their Scene Dead purchase. However, we fully understand that different garments fit different people in different ways, so we offer a a full no quibble returns service - quick and easy!
Refunds: If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with any “Buy It Now” item purchased from Scene Dead, simply request a return using eBay's return facilty. This can be found alongside the item in My eBay > Won > Actions. You will be provided with returns instructions and our returns address, and it will allow us to process your refund without delay. There is a 10% restocking fee on refunds for all "Free Postage" items.
Exchanges: To exchange your item, please return it to us for a refund (using eBay's return facilty). Then purchase your replacement item from our eBay shop and we will send it to you quickly and seamlessly.
Special conditions for returns - please read carefully:
1. Please include a note of your eBay user ID and item number.
2. Please return your item within seven days for a prompt refund. We are unable to process returns after 14 days.
3. Please wrap your item carefully and use the correct postage. We recommend recorded delivery.
4. Please ensure that your item is completely unworn and undamaged. This includes but is not limited to broken buttons and zips, tears and obvious signs of misuse. We are unable to accept items which have been worn or damaged - they will be returned to sender and no refund will be issued.
5. If you receive an item with a special "Do Not Remove" tag, please ensure that it is returned with the tag intact.
6. We cannot accept returns on auction items, Best Offer items or underwear/tights.
COMMUNICATION:

We like to keep customers informed at every step of their purchase, so order status emails are sent to your registered email address at integral stages of your order. To avoid messages being filtered as junk mail, please add our eBay mailings to your “safe sender” list. Informative emails are system generated, so please do not reply to these messages. If you need to contact us please use eBay's messaging system where we will be able to provide you with a prompt reply.
ITEM DESCRIPTIONS:
We want you to know exactly what you're buying, so we list our items as accurately as possible. Within each listing you can find details of tag sizes, corresponding UK measurements as well as measurements where applicable. All measurements are approximate, rounded to the nearest inch, taken from the unworn, hence unstretched garment. For more information on fitting and sizing, please see our fitting guide. We strongly advise you to use the measurements rather than the tag size when buying jeans. Please remember that colours may vary according to your monitor settings and the item may look different in a larger size. If you do have any questions about the item you are bidding on that isn’t covered in the listing, then please contact us with your query before bidding.
