As a Yamaha main dealer for keyboard and piano products we are able to offer a unique Free 5 year extended warranty period. All Yamaha products are covered by Yamaha for the first 2 years of their life. Having our own service department we are able to extend this to a full 5 year period. This is probably unique in the industry as most retailers are unable to offer an in house Service department. The advantage of this service is that we can offer where possible speedy repairs. All our carrier services are next day delivery.
How does it work ?
Within the first 28 days should the goods develop a fault that we are unable to resolve with telephone help then we will have the goods collected and returned to our workshop by our carrier. It might be worth noting that goods need to be packaged properly to be collected by carrier and therefore it might be wise to flat pack any packaging for future use. Our carrier will not accept goods that are not adequately packaged.
After the 28 day period should a faulty develop it will be your ( The customer ) responsibility to return the goods to us however should you wish we are able to provide a carrier service for your convenience.
What is covered ?
For the first 2 years parts and labour are covered but excluding accidental damage, misuse and wear and tear through wrong application. For years 3, 4 and 5 all labour costs are covered and parts will be chargeable. No work would be carried out without consulting the customer first. Telephone support will be available throughout the 5 year period.
What is not covered ?
Modification to the product, Unauthorised removal of casings, Misuse, Accidental damage ( Would be covered by household insurance ) Use which is inappropriate for the product.
What happens after the 5 year warranty ?
After the warranty period we will still offer support and a repair service charged on a parts and labour basis. Prices would be agreed by both parties before any work was carried out. Please note this agreement does not affect your statutory rights. Please refer to our terms and conditions. |
