RIEDEL (Founded in 1756) is one of the world’s most prestigious brands renowned for top quality hand made and machine made glasses in lead crystal.  RIEDEL developed and refined the concept that the shape of the glass brings out the best of particular wines.  The same concept has been successfully applied to spirits resulting in an extensive range of beautiful Crystal Glasses, all optimised for a particular use. A variety of lovely Decanters complement the range.

The Sommeliers range sets a world standard for glasses.  Each piece is hand blown by highly experienced glass makers using fine lead crystal.  24% lead crystal is the minimum permitted, giving the glassware the strength required and a brilliant clarity.  The glasses are packed, well wrapped, in an individual presentation pack.

The Vinum range mirrors the Sommeliers range in virtually all respects, but is very carefully machine made, also in fine lead crystal. Vinum provides fabulous, but reasonably priced, top quality glassware. Vinum two piece boxed gift sets are available and make super presents.

Finally, there is the NEW ‘O’ range of non lead stem-less wine tumblers, great for less formal settings, yet with different glass shapes following the RIEDEL concept. Inexpensive, easy to use and dishwasher friendly the RIEDEL wine tumblers are only £9 per glass.  In packs of two, they are available in several varieties.

As for the extensive range of Decanters, there is a stunning range of choices ranging from the popular Cabernet at £34.95 to the wonderful Duck at £185 as seen on some of the world’s finest tables. The Mezzo is worth a mention too.  A striking design, it is called the wine saver, holding approx half a bottle of wine, and keeping it for a few days without any appreciable deterioration.
