Energy Exchange

When I first became interested in Reiki and energy healing, a term that often annoyed me was that of energy exchange - I felt that, as a LightWorker energy should be free to all, and that many sellers of attunements and systems were charging high prices for what should be free to everyone! When I was able to do attunements, and channel them I would give what I had received freely, thinking that this was the way things should be. After all how could the initial Reiki sellers justify charging thousands for teaching Reiki!

Apparently things aren't free! We are humans, and part of what it is to be human is to learn to exchange energy fairly and attain balance in what we give and receive, for some of us it is the receiving that is hard, especially if we have been used to giving everything away, and swearing vows of poverty in our past lifes. To attain, and keep abundance in this life we must learn to receive, and attain balance. This has been a particular problem for me in the past and one of the reasons I have put a note about energy exchange on each of my eBay sales.

Part of this is that I feel I am selling many of the processes I have on offer at the moment at prices well below there real value, so to redress the balance I need to ask for some form of energy exchange. But also this allows for an exchange where the value of something as perceived by the buyer is not a high as they paid, in which case I can give them energy to redress the balance.

How does this work - well we leave it to our Higher Selfs to work out the details, the value of what has been received and any energy exchange that is required.

An example of this would be that if you find what you have received is the best thing that has ever happened to you, it would of course be worth much more than what you paid for it, therefore our Higher Selfs might decide that your Higher Self should share some energy information with my Higher Self, or send healing to me, on the other hand if you were poor and struggled to pay the money I was asking, and the process wasn't that useful to you then my Higher Self would sort out some form of energy exchange to your Higher Self. The consequences are not bad, we exchange information and energy all day with the people we meet, etc. Your energy remains your energy, and mine remains mine, but if there is an imbalance in what you have received our Higher Selfs will sort out a payment of some kind.

Of course there is also the fact that as a Complementary Therapist we need to earn a living from our services!
