We are a small, but fast growing business built entirely on our outstanding reputation. Being primarily gardeners, our standards are very important to us, hence, we are one of the few fully "DEFRA" registered and inspected suppliers you will find on eBay. We fully comply and exceed all UK legislation, ensuring you can be confident of receiving the best possible seeds, standards of service and support. With over 25 years of gardening experience and growing the majority of our own produce for the table, we are delighted to help with any questions regardless of your level of experience (there is no such thing as a silly question if you do not know the answer!!)

No matter how many packs or the mix of seed varieties you order at any one time, the Postage for the first packet of seeds is a flat £0.65 (£1.10 overseas). P&P for any additional packets is completely FREE. For multiple purchases, please purchase all the seeds required before proceeding to checkout. Once complete select the pay for items option, simply follow the Ebay instructions and ensure all your items are on the invoice and a single P&P charge has been applied before payment. If you are unsure or there is any problem simply e-mail us and we will send a combined invoice to you with a payment link.

Welcome
We welcome you to "Premier Seeds Direct" and hope you are enjoying looking through the many varieties we have on offer.
History
- We have been growing our own produce for over 25 years and currently maintain an extensive cottage style garden and small holding where we grow a large proportion of our vegetables for the table. This now doubles as a test ground where we can experiment with all the varieties we have on offer and are considering for sale.
- We became increasing frustrated with the limited selections, poor quality of service and restrictively high prices offered by the larger seed sellers and were curious if we could do better.
- Having started sourcing seeds for ourself, this quickly grew to fellow allotment holders, friends and their friends. A number of large growers have been very supportive and helped us develop a fantastic network of quality growers, for which we are very grateful.
- We would also like to thank DEFRA and their inspectors who have provided much advice, support and ensured our structure, records and proceedures are of the highest industry standards.
- In Jan 07 we decided to see if we could benefit from economies of scale in costs and wider selections by trialling a shop through eBay, hence "Premier Seeds Direct" was born. We exceeded our initial 12 month target by a factor of 10 and never looked back.
Ambitions
- We are always visiting and signing new growers from USA to India generating the economies of scale that enable us to pass on even better value to our fellow growers.
- The 09/10 season will see an expansion in our range of flowers and vegetables of around 30%.
- We have been delighted by the numbers of enquiries from nurseries and commercial growers alike, overtaking retail sales this year and welcome enquries for bulk supply of any varieties at the most competetive prices to be found anywhere.
- Hopefully, time permitting a web-site will follow late in 09.
Mission Statement
- We settled on "Grow the best" as this captures what we are aim to achieve from seed quality to customer service.
- We are delighted to answer any questions on varieties and provide advise to growers regardless of experience.
- We are always looking to improve and welcome any feedback, good or bad, how we can improve and show the big sellers what gardeners really expect.
