Acrylic (perspex) material is sensitive to general household products, particularly when the product has polished edges. We have provided this cleaning guide in order for you to ensure the durability of your new product.

Clean your acrylic items with a solution of mild soap (dishwashing liquid) and lukewarm water. Use a clean soft cloth, applying only light pressure. Rinse with clean water and carefully dry by blotting with a lint free cloth or chamois. Scratches may occur if any particles or dirt are on the surface of the product and too much pressure is applied when cleaning. If your item is Mirror Acrylic, take particular care of the backing as scratches on the backing will remove the mirror finish on the face of the item.

DO NOT USE:  Solvents , alcohol, ammonia based products, tile cleaners, window cleaning sprays, abrasive cleaners, paint thinners, acetone, furniture polish, window polish, abrasive pads or shower scrubs – always check with the cleanser’s manufacturer for compatibility with acrylic.
