OK - it's an e-book. and a lot of people seem to be selling e-books that are nothing more than second-hand rubbish. Some of them may even be sold by get-rich-quick merchants who know little or nothing about the subject.
So, before you go any further, please take a look at some of the things people have said about my tutorials

Dear Garry,
I bought your complete set of tutorials last night
Yes, that's right.. I bought it around 4 hours ago, and i'm still here reading it at 12.45am. I can't drag myself away from the PC as I now have the information I have been needing for such a long time, and it's shaping up to be one of the best investments I've made. I haven't got past the business side of things, never mind the actual techniques!
Yours Sincerely,

Scott Wright.

A couple of days ago I came across your website and downloaded some of your tutorials:

The Professional Photography Manual
Studio Lighting
Portrait
Wedding

I must say they are great value for money.

I recently spent the best part of £300 for a ‘Photography Business Course’ from a company in Australia. It was mainly to do with marketing but had various other bits and bobs in with it. Have I read it? No. I’ve picked my way through some of it and it didn’t motivate me at all.

When I downloaded yours, I did so with some cynicism – but I was wrong. They are excellent. Straightforward and easy to understand and I certainly feel motivated.

A few weeks ago I bought some daylight florescent lights from a reputable UK company. I wish I’d read your tutorial before the purchase as, like you say, they did not do want I wanted. I had to use such a slow shutter speed, on ISO 800, (I use a Canon D60 SLR) which was absolutely no good for what I was doing - Jayne Bargent

"It is rare for me to write an endorsement for something. In fact I cannot remember doing it before, so I must feel that this is different for me to want to put my name to it.
I have seen a number of books before that tell you anyone can be a professional photographer, all you need to do is x, y, z. All that happens is that after buying the book you are really none the wiser and a few pounds out of pocket. One of the reasons for this is that a lot of these books are not written by professional photographers. They are written by professional writers rather than photographers.
That is one of the many factors that make this book different. It is written by a professional photographer of many years standing. He is able to write from a position of experience. The book makes a number of invaluable suggestions about how to go about finding work and how to best spend a limited marketing budget. It goes in to depth in many areas. For example how to put together a mailshot and who to send it to. It discusses different markets, naming the ones where you are most likely to find success and others that are much harder to crack.
It doesn't stop there though. It walks you by the hand through how to structure your business and other key areas such as the potential minefield of copyright.
The book doesn't use fancy language to dress up the subject. It is an easy read. It is around 80 pages of common sense and hard earned knowledge." - Andy Needham, owner of www.photographers.co.uk

"Thanks Garry for all your help and I just want to say that your book is a real cracker, well worth the money. You can quote me". - D.B

"When I got your book nearly 3 months ago I was sceptical because it says the opposite to everyone else, but you are 100% right and now I am making money for the first time. Just wish I had found it before" - H.C. Clarke

"I always wanted to do studio photography but don't have the money or space for equipment. Your tutorial does everything it says and has made it poss for me to get started" - H. Webster

"Covers everything about glamour and now I know how to get really professional results I've just had my first shots published" - Beverley Smith

I didnt really think I would learn anything from this but my wife got it for me. It's great and now get really good fashion shots instead of the usual boring ones - L.R. Smith, ancientwoodlands@aol.com

"This is the best how to of the lot, its very modern and does all styles of portraits. It shows photography magazine how tos up for what they are, useless. Ive learnt more from reading this than Ive learnt in 4 years" - John Connor

"Full of trade secrets, loads of different techniques and example photos, the best fiver I spent" - Nick Amis

"I'd just bid on a 'complete studio outfit' and bought your tutorial at the same time. It was too late to cancel my bid and I just had to hope I'd get outbid and I did. You saved me over £300 on a heap of crap because I would have bid higher. Also very good is all the tech info" - Bill Roberts

"Does everything it says on the tin and then some" - Fran Jackson.

"I've been doing weddings for nearly 20 years and still picked up some very good tips" - JF

"Takes all the fear and stress out of wedding photography and guarantees making money at the same time, many thanks

I got an American one first, their oldfashioned style and way of doing things didn't help me at all and they just don't understand the British way of doing it, the great thing about yours is that you really know your subject and explain things clearly and its bang up to date. M.E., Time692 -

Here's a brief summary of the benefits you'll receive

  • You will learn from my personal experience, acquired over a lifetime of professional photography
  • You dont have to wade through text books, or be overwhelmed with complex technical details.
  • Saves your money, you won't be buying equipment you don't need
  • Saves your time
  • You'll get personal email support from me
  • You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!
  • Let me explain in more detail what you'll get.
  • I've put ALL my knowledge and experience into this tutorial
  • It's 63 pages of specific info and photos. Just the knowledge and experience. No padding, no waffle
  • The tutorial isn't a sales pitch for another product or course, everything you need to know about still life photography is included.
  • This information is invaluable. It includes detailed info on lighting and other techniques that took me years to learn
  • I built my own business up from nothing, and because I started with nothing I had to learn techniques that don't need a lot of equipment to work - so all the knowledge you need to produce stunning, creative shots without a lot of expensive equipment is included!
  • I mentioned the Weekly Lighting Themes on www.photo.net earlier. Photonet has a 1/4 of a million members and we've had a lot of compliments about our weekly lighting themes, which give away information that other photographers keep secret - but we've gained too, my personal gain is that by producing them I've had to take a long, hard look, not only at the way I carry out my own photography but at my communication skills too, to make sure that all the information is easy to understand. I've also had to remember that the people reading the themes don't have an unlimited amount of expensive equipment, so I've tailored the themes to suit a minimum of equipment. Everything I've learned from producing these themes will benefit you, because I've taken care to make sure that this tutorial is as clear and useful to you as it can be.

Warning: -

Do NOT buy any 'Photography Guides' unless they meet all of the following criteria: -

  • The writer must be someone who has a successful background in photography. You can only get good information from someone who knows their subject, not from somebody who writes books based on research and guesswork!
  • You must be able to get personal support after purchase
  • Forget about attending long academic photographic college courses, it takes too long, many of the tutors know little about photography in general and even less about studio photography.
  • You need to save time, money and frustration and get down to the methods that will get you up and running quickly.
  • Check that the product you are purchasing isn't a sales pitch or "come on" for something else.
  • You must avoid approaches that don't go into any depth. This tutorial explains everything, in detail.

I give you the results of my lifetime of experience. That's invaluable.

In summary, here's what you get:

You get an information-packed 63 page PDF downloadable Still Life and Product Photography Tutorial

You'll receive PERSONAL email support on any questions, at any time, you can ask anything you like and there are no time limits

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!
