WARMSOLES ^® Underfloor heating mats are manufactured to the European standard IEC335/EN60335 which recommends that a heating mat with a rating of no more than 100W/m² should be installed onto a timber sub-floor.

Concrete floors absorb heat at a higher rate than timbers floors, therefore WARMSOLES ^®Underfloor heating mats with higher output ratings – 150W/m² to 200W/m² are available to compensate for this. Well insulated constructions to the latest requirements of the building regulations need less powerful heating mats than those built to the requirements prevailing when the building was constructed.
