WARMSOLES ®
UNDERFLOOR HEATING SYSTEMS
Electric Underfloor Heating Mat
Suitable for any room in the house – including bathrooms and Wet Rooms!
WARMSOLES ® Underfloor heating mats are manufactured to the European standard IEC335/EN60335 which recommends that a heating mat with a rating of no more than 100W/m² should be installed onto a timber sub-floor.
Concrete floors absorb heat at a higher rate than timbers floors, therefore WARMSOLES ®Underfloor heating mats with higher output ratings – 150W/m² to 200W/m² are available to compensate for this. Well insulated constructions to the latest requirements of the building regulations need less powerful heating mats than those built to the requirements prevailing when the building was constructed.
WARMSOLES ® offers a LIFETIME Guarantee.
Timber Sub Floor:
When installing directly onto a timber sub floor, you can not put more than 100W/m². When this is exceeded, a minimum of the 3mm thermal insulation sheets MUST be installed first.

Insulation:
Current Building Regulations stipulate requirements for floor insulation but you can never provide too much insulation! Running costs of the heating system are determined by the room or dwelling’s heat loss so any expenditure on insulation will be repaid many times over. We recommend that you regard Building Regulation requirements as the ‘bare minimum’ and install additional insulation. We supply WARMSOLES ® Thermal Insulation Boards and WARMSOLES ® Insulated Tile Backer Boards available in sheet form with a K value (thermal conductivity) of 0.029W/m°K.
These are available from our Ebay shop.

Electrical Requirements:
The heating elements are simple to install by following the comprehensive installation instructions.
· The final electrical connections should be made by a qualified electrician in accordance with the current regulations.
· All installations require a 30mA RCD (residual current device) for safe operation.
· Thermostats are now permitted to be installed in a bathroom outside of Zone 2 under 17th Edition rules. Refer to section 701-753 of BS 7671:2008 for further details.
