Our tubing is manufactured from LLDPE - Linear Low Density Polyethylene. LLDPE is the latest form of polyethylene, and is now widely used throughout the food industry for both film and containers as well as plastic tubing!

LLDPE is light, flexible, doesn't crack easily nor become brittle; with cold water it can withstand pressues much higher than mains presures, and it doesn't impart a "plastic" taste to the water or food.

That's why all our tubing is LLDPE, rather than LDPE.
