Kits 1 to 3 feature Y-pieces so that your filter shares its connection to the mains supply with a washing machine. These are ideal for connecting a fridge freezer, for example in a utility area. If you are looking for an under-sink connection, try one of kits 4 to 7. They are suitable for both fridge freezers and filter taps.

Installation Kit # 1  - Y-piece, connector, tubing and a handy valve so that you don't have to reach behind the washing machine every time you change the filter.

Installation Kit # 2 - Everything from Kit # 1 but with an added extra - a device called a waterblock, which shuts off the water supply in the event of a leak, perhaps caused by carelessness or clumsiness somewhere in the kitchen!

Installation Kit # 3 - Everything from Kit # 1 but with two added extras - the waterblock from Kit # 2, AND a pressure regulator - ideal if you are in an area where the water pressure occasionally exceeds the usual 4 or 5 bar, for example in agricultural areas where crop irrigation is important, or in urban areas where pumping pressures fluctuate severely as a result of commercial water usage.

But what if you don't want to have your fridge-freezer share its connection with the washing machine? Suppose you want to connect directly into the mains? Or you're looking to connect a filter tap at your sink? The simplest method uses a self-tapping valve. There are some really cheap and nasty ones on the market, but they hurt your fingers when you fit them and are liable to cause leaks. Kits 4 to 7 use the Opella self-piercing valve favoured by water cooler suppliers - there are probably in the order of 200,000 in use in offices throughout the UK.

Installation Kit # 4 - Opella self-piercing valve, connector and tubing.

Installation Kit # 5 - The same as Kit # 4 but with an extra valve. If you want the extra convenience of a valve right next to your filter, this one does the trick.

Installation Kit # 6 - Self-piercing valve, connector, tubing, separate shut-off valve to go next to filter, AND a waterblock anti-leak device.

Installation Kit # 7 - Self-piercing valve, connector, tubing, separate shut-off valve to go next to filter, AND a waterblock anti-leak device, AND a pressure regulator.

We also have a handy tee-piece which can fit directly into a 15mm copper main. This makes a very handy permanent connection. Similar combinations as above are available.
