Recently, eBay has introduced Feedback 2.0, and given customers the chance to critique our P&P charges - not the quality of our service. We would like to remind customers that Post and Packing constitutes more than just the price of postage. Time, and Materials, are essential in ensuring your items arrive safely and securely. We use original Jiffy Bags, and Tuffpack opaque secure mailing sacks to send all small items, with boxes being used for larger products. Extra care is given to lotions and potions, whose lids are tightened and tops sealed. The whole process takes time and money and whilst our Postage and Packing may not be the cheapest, we hope you appreciate our prices are. We believe that even with higher P&P charges than some, and for good reason, our overall price is lower.
Maybe it is because eBay cannot charge commission on the postage element, that they are trying to influence sellers to redcuce P&P charges and increase product prices.
We would like to ask all our customers to evaluate our overall P&P policy when giving us feedback. As a business who operates in a competitive field, we will be forced to increase our product prices if customers continue to evalaute our P&P charges as high. If this happens, everyone except eBay will lose out.
We hope with this in mind, you can continue to support us, to supprt you.
Remember Discounted product prices and Quality Post and Packing well done still equals a better deal for you.
Help us, with your feedback, to continue to serve you.

At Prequestrian, WE GENUINELY CAP OUR MAXIMUM P&P CHARGE TO £6.95 per 25Kg of product, to most of the UK as per our shop polices page.
Customers outside of the UK mainland (with the exception of the Isle of Wight), or on the Channel Islands, or in Northern Ireland or in the following postcode areas: FK17-FK99, G83, IV1-IV28, IV33-IV51, IV55-IV56, HS1-HS9, KA27-KA28, KW, PA20-PA48, PA60-PA78, PH18-PH26, PH30-PH44, and ZE1-ZE3 postcode areas, will be asked to either pay postage at our cost, in the most economic way possible, or can use our courier service at a price of £12.95 per 25Kg for a 2 working day service..
Either way, prior to placing an order, customers are asked to email our Despatch Department at despatch@prequestrian.co.uk for a firm quote.
How it works
Unfortunately, unlike shopping carts you may find on our, or other, e-commerce websites, eBay's and Paypal's checkout facility does not automatically combine orders for multiple items or combine P&P fees.
Therefore, when you checkout, you can often expect to see P&P charges quoted as if you had added together all of the individual items. This is normal for all sellers on eBay and does not only affect Prequestrian. It is just how the eBay systems work.
If the total P&P you see when you checkout is quoted at over £6.95, you will not pay more than that, if you follow these simple instructions:
Do NOT pay for your items.
Instead, when you have finished shopping with us, simply send us an email, and we will combine your various orders into one, and amend the P&P charge. Once we have combined your orders, we will send you a single eBay invoice, confirming the individual items on the order, and the one single P&P fee of £6.95. This will be done through eBay.
From that email, a link will enable you to Pay via Paypal easily, or within the email, there will be further instructions on how to pay via our other accepted payment methods.
If you do make a mistake and accidentally pay the P&P quoted by eBay, do not worry. 99% of the time we spot customer errors before they do. Errors we spot, are refunded to customers immediately and you will often see references to our honesty in our feedback pages.
If we don't see it straight away, don't worry, as we also have further checks to ensure our customers are not penalised by the inadequacies of computers.
Once a week, we reconcile all eBay transactions to our central accounts system and all omitted refunds are processed then.
If you any questions or queries with this, please feel free to call us on 01580 766667 and ask for the Accounts Department or email them at accounts@prequestrian.co.uk
Service Mandate for Deliveries via Courier
Prequestrian regrets that, whilst we can gurantee orders placed with us will be despatched within one working day, we cannot be held repsonsible for our courier's performance. No mailorder order can. In the unlikley event that our courier fails to deliver within 24/48 hours from the point of despatch, we will work closely with you to ensure your delivery is received as quickly as possible.
