We charge a postage fee only to cover our costs of materials and labour.All orders placed before 3pm (Mon-Fri) will be sent out the same day. Orders placed after Friday 3pm and over the weekend, will be sent Monday. Customers will receive email confirmation of orders and when items have been despatched.Please allow extra time if you are paying by cheque or Paypal e-cheque, as items will only be despatched once payment has cleared. All our auctions require immediate payment before despatch. By selecting this service, the eBay checkout system negates us from combining postal charges. We appologise for the inconvenience this may cause, however this is the only way we can achieve our high levels of service.
About Delivery We offer customers a range of delivery services so you can select the one that’s right for you, however your choice affects both the delivery timescale and the insurance compensation. Unfortunately, we can't be held responsible for late delivery, however if you opted for a guaranteed service that fails to meet its guarantee then we may be able to arrange a refund of Royal Mails postal charges for you, (subject to their terms and conditions).
Royal Mail 1st Class Orders placed using Royal Mail 1st class delivery (standard & signed for), whilst most arrive next day carry no guarantee of delivery date and compensation for loss can be processed no sooner than 15 working days after the date of postage. No refunds are available for late delivery under this 15 working day period. Compensation will only be offered upto a maximum of £34.
Guarenteed Next Day - Special Delivery Royal Mail Special Delivery offers guaranteed next day delivery before 1pm (Mon - Fri) to 99% of UK addresses as published on Royal Mails website, except bank holidays and public holidays. This service offers customers a full Track & Trace, available at Royal Mails website. Should you wish to track your order, please contact us and we will provide you with your tracking number.
Need a Saturday Guarantee? Orders placed on a Friday using the Special Delivery service usually arrive on a Saturday; however this is by no means guaranteed, and we offer a full Saturday guaranteed should you need to guarantee the service. Please note that Saturday delivery is represented by the title 'Other Courier' within our delivery options.
Signatures Reqired? Both the Special Delivery and Saturday Guarantee services require a signature on delivery. Should their be no one available at the address to sign for the parcel, a note will be left with details of collection and redelivery.
What happens if my Guaranteed Delivery is late? Compensation claims for late delivery must be processed within 14 working days of postal date and only available upto a maximum of £500.
Redelivery Should any item be returned to us due to Royal Mail or other couriers being unable to redeliver, we reserve the right to request a re-postage charge to cover redelivery costs and or any charges we incur from the courier to return the parcel to us.
International Buyers International buyers may choose from two services; however payment will only be accepted via Paypal. Royal Mail Airmail offers the most cost effective method of sending items abroad. This service is limited to items upto 2Kg, and no compensation for loss or delay is available. Delivery to Europe is usually within three working days to Western Europe, four working days to Eastern Europe and five working days for the rest of the world, following the day of posting.
Our other postage option is Royal Mail Airsure®. This service is the fastest way to send a parcel abroad. However, there is a weight limit of 2Kg and certain size restrictions are in place. This service is also restricted to the following countries:
Europe: Andorra, Austria, Azores, Balearic Islands, Belgium, Canary Islands, Corsica, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Madeira, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
World Zone one: Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and USA.
World Zone two: New Zealand
Please note that if your destination isn’t included in the above list, the Airsure® service cannot be used. Please select our normal Airmail service. Please do not select this service if your destination is not in the list above. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a delay in despatch and the cost of the service may be unrecoverable.
It is important to note that a parcel may incur Import Duties if delivery is made outside of the EU Member States. It is not the responsibility of Otley Runner Fancy Dress to pay such fees and must be covered by the customer at arrival to their destination country. Should a customer not agree to this Duty upon arrival and reject the consignment, please be aware that although we will happily refund the cost of goods, we will not refund the cost of International shipment charges.
Please note that due to restrictions, we are unable to send any gun or ammunition outside of the UK, and as such are unable to accept orders for these items from International buyers. Should an above item be bought by a buyer outside of the UK, final value fee will not be refunded by the seller.
Upgrading/Downgrading Shipping Should the weight of any UK Special Delivery, or International Signed For or Airsure consignment, be in excess of 2Kg or exceed any size limitations that may apply, we reserve the right to upgrade shipment of your order to a courier service, or downgrade International orders to the standard Airmail service, or ask for additional monies to cover increased postage costs where applicable. We will contact the customer in any of the above cases prior to despatch. Please note that should an order be too heavy or too large that equates in excess of our published price, we reserve the right to withhold the order while we agree any appropriate additional fees with you. You will have the right to cancel the order if you feel any additional charge is too expensive.
