A:Yes, customers are able to collect via appointment at our Watford (HERTS) warehouse between Monday-Friday 9.30am-5.00pm. Evenings and week-end collections must be requested and authorised by us.
Q:DO YOU COMBINE SHIPPING?
A:We will endeavour to reduce shipping for multiple buys where possible, but this is not always guaranteed. Many factors can effect a customers eligibility for combined shipping, the most common being the item in question (size) and location.
Q:WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY ITEM TO ARRIVE?
A:Most listings will carry a date for when we expect to be in a position to dispatch from our warehouse-if an item is not in stock. For all items that are in stock, we endeavour to dispatch no more than 21 days after cleared payment, generally we do ask customers to allow for anything up to 28 days.
Q:DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?
A:Yes we do. Claims must be submitted by e-mail no later than 7 days of receipt. Please read our standard terms and conditions for more information on our returns policy.
Q:DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
A:Yes we do, again, please contact customer services for more details as shipping rates will vary depending on what Country etc.
Q:WHAT IS SHABBY CHIC?
A:This term was coined by Rachel Ashwell back in the 1980's when the interior market was taken by storm over the delectable styles of bygone days of floral prints, patterns on soft furnishings and painted furniture that had the paint work intentionally scored & marked to make it appear 'old' & 'worn' looking.
Q:WHAT IS FRENCH STYLE?
A:This refers to the actual design of any item based loosely around LOUIS XVI era when decadence reigned freely in the Chateau de Versailles. Encompassing lavish carvings and other details on the design to replicate this romantic and oh so French trademark 'cresting' or finial on wardrobes/armoires. Just remember ~DECADENCE~
Q:WHAT MATERIALS ARE USED?
A:Most of what we stock *furniture* is constructed COMPLETELY BY HAND from mahogany wood or other hard woods. Where internal shelving is present, due to the durability and strength, MDF may occasionally be used.
Q:DO YOU OFFER CUSTOMISATION OR BESPOKE SERVICE?
A:Yes we do. Please have ready the size & colour and/or fabric choice that you require and where we have to place an order with the manufacturer, you will be notified of an approximate lead time prior to committing to the sale. DO NOTE that ALL final sales MUST be completed through EBAY as this provides peace of mind for both parties.
Q:HOW DO I CARE FOR MY PRODUCT?
A:We recommend to ensure long-lasting enjoyment & beauty of your product, you must NOT do the following: 1. Place near DIRECT HEAT or SUNLIGHT SOURCE 2. Over exposure to varying temperature & moisture conditions 3. Abrasive cleaners and/or bleach, simple warm soapy water with a lint free cloth wiped occasionally will suffice
