Where does
our Postage Rate of £8-95 Cover?
We offer one of the lowest postage rates for courier delivery on
eBay. With this service you item is tracked from collection, though
sortation right to the destination. This
low rate covers England & Wales including the Isle of Wight.
It does not cover Scotland, Highlands and Island or Offshore like
Guernsey, Jersey or Isle of Man.
You can track
online. Visit www.businesspost.biz and enter your ebay user ID in
the Alt Ref field to the right of the page under consignment number.
NOTE: Sometimes you need a space on the end of your username!

How are my parcels handled by your courier?
Our couriers employ a system similar to cages called "Hog Boxing". These "Hog Boxes" are 1m x 1m x 1m Polyethylene boxes designed to carry a set number of parcels.
They are designed
to be stacked on top of each other so the bottom parcels dont get
crushed in transit. The weight of the upper boxes is taken by the
side walls of the Hog Boxes, not your parcel!

Surcharged Areas and Rates
Although our rate covers some 90% of the UK, surcharges do apply to some addresses. We have a list of surchargable postcodes on the listings, however there are some odd ball postcodes we dont have on the system!
Our courier will not leave your parcel in your porch or garden unless you request it and it cannot be covered by insurance in case of post delivery theft. If you do order a courier delivery please try to be in! If not then the driver will leave it with a neighbour or leave a card for you to collect it from the depot.
Returned parcels that are not collected within 1 week will have to be resent at your cost, we will certainly be charged twice! If possible, use your work address for delivery if you are going to be out. Enter this in the notes section of paypal. |
Insuring your purchase
We do offer a goods in transit insurance policy for our customers at just £1 for the whole consignment, we cannot claim for goods if you do not take this insurance on checkout. If for any reason you cannot due to an ebay error, simply send the £1 to us via paypal with a note. Some posted goods are pre-insured! Check the listing!
Although 99.5% of our parcels are delivered on time and in good condition, there are rare occasions when items go missing or get damaged. For your own peace of mind, select the optional insurance, especially if you have spent over £100. Insurance is included FREE if you spend over £250.
Some of our items can be sent internationally, in this case NO LIQUID PRODUCT can be insured, such are the terms of our insurance policy. We have yet to find a courier or underwriter that will insure liquids overseas. |
Can
you send me the item by Royal Mail?
Many people ask us to post their items via Royal Mail to reduce postage costs or surcharges. Where an item can be posted we will do it however Royal Mail will not accept any item that is hazardous to health or classified as hazardous to transport. We will not break the law under any circumstance and respect the safety of Postmen and Postwomen all over the world. |
Whats
the 99p per extra item thing about?
Our charging system is designed to be fair and simple. We are charged a delivery charge and then a certain number of pence per kilo thereafter. The system is designed so that if you buy five items you cover just the delivery cost we will be charged. A small proportion of your postage goes towards packaging and labour cost of the physical packing. |

Packing Materials
We use custom made, brand new cardboard boxes for all our products. We do try to recycle some packaging for the good of the environment but will not use damaged boxing at any time.
We have over 10 sizes of box, some double walled for heavier items. We also use heavy gauge lay flat polythene tubing and rubble sacks for encasing glass fibre and plasters respectively, ensuring clean and dry delivery! |
Riding on AIR!
When you open you box you will find a brand new system for filling the free space (commonly known as void) in your package. We do not use messy shredded paper or annoying polystyrene chippings.
We use an patented air bag system that lets your goods ride on air to your door. Less damage and less mess when you open the box. Either pop the bags and dispose in refuse or recycle them for your own parcels |
