Just to bring you up to date regarding the insurance claim for this watch...
I showed the watch to a friend and he offered to replace the glass. Not only did he replace the glass, but he also polished the silver case; the watch runs and looks great! Therefore, I decided not to make a claim, but I wanted to thank you for all your help and kindness. Your offer to replace the glass was certainly above and beyond you obligation as a seller. I'm so happy with the purchase that I bid and won a gold open face watch from you. Now I need to be careful that I don't start a collection of pocket watches in addition to my slide rule collection and my Lionel train collection and my....
