Payment: is expected within 5 working days of purchase - if this is a problem let me know asap to avoid confusion.
Cheques: are acceptable, but please note I must allow 7 working days for clearance due to the banking clearance system.
Packing: is always used appropriate to the item, therefore delicate items will be well packed, though unfortunately damages in transit do sometimes occur - if this happens to you, please contact me.
Postage details & Shipping times: All items will be posted within 3 working days of cleared payment being received and I will always send an email on the day of shipping to advise that your item has been sent. IMPORTANT: If your item is being shipped by courier it will be delivered the next working day after the email and the courier will only attempt delivery on twice and hold your parcel for one week, after this the item will be returned to me and can be sent again, but this will attact an additional postage charge. Therefore please ensure if you will be out, you either rearrange delivery with the courier immediately (they will leave a calling card) or leave a note to arrange to leave your parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour Although Royal Mail is mostly reliable, please allow up to 10 working days for delivery as they will not investigate missing items until this amount of time has elapsed. Courier items should take no more than 2 working days within the UK so please contact me if not received within that time
Descriptions: are always as accurate as possible please read them carefully before buying
Measurements: are to the nearest half inch and are taken at the widest/largest point on the item
Pictures: are taken using a high resolution camera, so the colour portrayed should be a good interpretation, though obviously the light conditions and your personal computer settings can affect the picture slightly so please bear this in mind
Returns: If an item is broken or faulty I will of course replace it free of charge. Returns for all other reasons must be notified within 3 Working days & returned within one week for a refund less p&p costs (both ways) incurred
Problems: if there is a problem with your purchase please contact me before leaving neutral or negative feedback as I am a very reasonable person and I will do my best to solve them to everyones satisfaction. I always treat my customers as I would wish to be treated myself.

I formed MelodyMaison in 2005 and it started life as a small eBay shop, 20 months and 5000+ customers later, it became clear that maybe what had begun as a part time passion was to become a full time job! So after 19 years of working for a large company in the Customer services Industry, I left, and MelodyMaison took full flight!
