The business is owned and managed by Barbara & Graham Crompton. Barbara is a quilter of more than 25 years standing with professional experience in various aspects of training. These skills have now been combined to create Material Pleasures where you can find a range of exciting fabrics from well-known brands, useful accessories and our own original, personally-designed quilt kits and patterns all at affordable prices.
Material Pleasures trades globally online 24/7, at Quilters’ Guild events and craft and stitching events. We can provide a trades stand with demonstrations at your group meetings, exhibitions or other stitching-related events in the Manchester/ Merseyside/ Cheshire areas and beyond.
One of the aims of the business is to encourage beginners into this wonderful and fascinating hobby and to achieve this we produce our own beginners kits and packs which are backed up by help and advice when needed. We also also offer a bespoke service so that you can plan and ordeer your own unique quilt kit.
Our aim is to provide top quality items, help, advice and excellent service to all our customers.
