Shipping
Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight of the items, and we will try to offer a number of alternatives if available. You can get an instant shipping estimate by selecting the country to ship to at the bottom of an item listing.
We will try to process all orders within 5 working days and will contact you if we think it will take longer. Delivery times will depend on the shipping service chosen at checkout.
If you require an urgent delivery, or have a specific date that you need your order by, please inform us of this as soon as possible and we will try to fulfil your needs.
Some items we sell are custom made, or sent directly from the manufacturer. We aim to process these orders within 2 working days, but cannot guarantee shipping times as they are dependent on the the manufacturer. However, we work very closely with our suppliers to ensure that they supply all products in a timely manner.
Exchanges
Macdonald Sporrans is happy to exchange most items if they are the wrong size or colour. Custom-made items cannot be exchanged unless a manufacturer's fault is found with it.
Buyers must contact us before exchanging any goods, and are asked to
return the item in the condition it was received in, with all wrapping
and tags still attached.
A return shipping charge will be applied for this service, at the standard rate of shipping for the item being exchanged.
Faulty Goods
Please contact us as soon as possible if you think your item is faulty, or not the item you ordered. We will try to resolve the sitaution as quickly as possible.
Returns
Macdonald Sporrans offers a refund policy for most items. Custom-made items cannot be returned unless a manufacturer's fault is found with it.
Buyers must contact us before returning any goods, and are asked to return the item in the condition it was received in, with all wrapping and tags still attached to be eligible for a full refund.
Unfortunately we cannot refund our outgoing postage costs, and it is the buyers responsibility to ensure any returned goods reach us in satisfactory condition.
We may charge a processing fee of £5 when refunding goods.
Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
The term 'Macdonald Sporrans' refers to the company which owns and operates the eBay store Macdonald Sporrans, accessed through the domain http://stores.ebay.co.uk/macdonaldsporrans. Any reference to 'Macdonald Sporrans' refers to the company and all content which is owns on the eBay store. It does not refer to eBay in any way, or any eBay properties within the eBay store.
Product Availability
It is important to note that information about our products does not
amount to an offer by us to sell the products on that basis. Rather, it
is an invitation to you to make us an offer to purchase that product on
that basis, therefore references to orders placed by customers are
deemed to be references to offers by such customers to purchase the
relevant product from us. Although we will endeavour to
supply you with the item requested, sometimes we may be unable to
fulfill an order. In this instance, you will be informed at the
earliest opportunity. Product images displayed on the website may
occasionally differ from the respective product names, descriptions, or the actual product received
due to changes in packaging and/or availability.
Special Offers
Macdonald Sporrans reserves the right to withdraw or modify special offers at any time. All products are sold on a first come first served basis and no further discounts may be applied.
Order Returns
If after Macdonald Sporrans has accepted an order from
you (acceptance will be communicated via e-mail on receipt of an
order), and you wish to withdraw from the contract, you may do so by
communicating that wish to us within 14 days of receiving the goods.
If you have already received the goods and they are unwanted, you must
return the goods to us at your own cost and risk. Please note that a
£5 processing charge may be applied and our outgoing shipping costs will not be refunded. This will not apply in the case of faulty, damaged or
incorrect goods. Provided the goods are returned in the same
condition as we supplied them to you, we shall reimburse all monies,
less any charges, paid by you for those goods. Custom made or made to measure items cannot be returned unless they are found to have a manufacturing fault, in which case they will be repaired or replaced to a like-new standard.
Faulty Goods
If goods do not reach you in good condition or are faulty, please contact us to arrange replacement. Shipping
costs for the affected portion of delivery back to Macdonald Sporrans is at our expense. We will aim to acknowledge your complaint within 5 days and we will keep you informed about progress. Macdonald Sporrans will only credit you for the items
that have been damaged or are faulty upon safe return of the goods to us. We must be notified of damaged or faulty goods within 5 days of receipt. Macdonald Sporrans will accept returns and
give full refunds only in circumstances where the products have not
been tampered with or opened. Your payment will be refunded within 30 days
of the agreement to refund.
Delivery
Delivery will be made within 7 working days to most Mainland UK
addresses. Delivery to more remote areas of the UK may take slightly
longer. Macdonald Sporrans will endeavour to deliver to
you within the specified time. However, there may be instances when we
cannot deliver within this time. If we realise that we cannot deliver
to you within that time, we shall alert you as soon as possible to try
to arrange another suitable time for delivery. Macdonald Sporrans cannot be held responsible if any item
you have ordered is impounded by or has extra duty charged on it by
your local customs and excise department, therefore we recommend that
you check with the Customs and Excise Department before ordering from
us.
