Auction Purchases
In the event that you bid on and win an item it is deemed fair to expect that this bid is honored by the winning party. Any person that wins an item and does not complete the sale process will be reported through the eBay console for non payment. This will result in a non payment strike and negative feedback being received. This condition is in place to protect eBay members from being deprived the opportunity to purchase items at a fair price, and to protect the seller from losing sales and incurring costs unjustly.
Buy it Now Purchases
In the event that you purchase an item using the Buy it Now facility it is deemed fair to expect this purchase to be honored. If the item was part of a multiple listing this purchase may not have stopped another eBay member from purchasing at a fair price, and therefore cancellation of this purchase would be considered within a 24 hour period. Lighting Plus reserves the right to apply an administration charge for any cancelled orders.
Payment
We accept Pay Pal, All Major Credit Cards, Cheques and Postal Orders. We ask that payment is received within 7 days of purchase.
Delivery
We endeavor to dispatch goods within 5 working days from payment being received. However on a lot of occasions items arrive with the buyers within 2/3 days. There will occasionally be items that due to varying circumstances fall outside of these guidelines. If for any reason this situation arises we will work to resolve the issue as soon as possible. We will contact you immediately to inform you of the circumstances, and will stay in contact until the situation is resolved. Please allow 7 working days for delivery to account for eventualities
We endeavor to dispatch most of our items through a courier network. As with any company that uses a courier network we rely on a third party to deliver your goods. In the unfortunate event that there is a problem we will work with you and the courier to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
The couriers will attempt to deliver Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00. Please ensure that there is somebody available to receive your order as they will not leave the goods without a signature. If a signature is obtained from any person other than the named customer at the specified delivery address, the named customer is still responsible for the item and any charges associated with it. In the event that there is nobody to receive the goods the courier will leave a card with contact details to rearrange delivery.
If for any reason the courier does not receive contact regarding this delivery within a few days the goods may be returned to us and a non delivery and return of goods surcharge applied. In this event the customer will be responsible for paying this surcharge and the subsequent redelivery charges.
If you are outside of the UK mainland additional delivery charges will apply. If you live outside the UK mainland please enquire before you purchase.
We cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by the customer due to late delivery of goods. We recommend that you do not make arrangements for installation until you have received your order and inspected the goods.
It is the customers’ responsibility to supply the correct shipping information. The customer shall be liable for any additional postage costs and charges incurred due to the incorrect information being given.
Returns and Exchanges
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will gladly refund your money. This does not affect your statutory rights. Should you wish to return the item(s) for any reason, the following conditions apply:
Your order must be returned within 7 days of receipt of goods. Please note we cannot accept non warranty returns after this 7 day period.
All goods must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Please take care when unpacking & repacking. We will not accept returns that have been damaged.
We cannot be held responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit. We recommend that you send by registered post & retain proof of posting. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay for this return.
Refunds and exchanges are made after receipt of goods and inspection. Lighting Plus reserve the right to apply a restocking charge to any items returned or orders cancelled.
Customers who have paid by Pay Pal will have their accounts credited. We will not make refunds to a third party.
Any goods returned under warranty during the warranty period will be replaced free of charge once the item has been returned to us and inspected.
As soon as we receive your returned goods we will process your request. Replacement goods held in stock will be dispatched within seven working days. If your substitute is not in stock we will contact you to advise you of the delivery time or offer an alternative.
Damage in Transit
Irrespective of how well an item is packed, items can occasionally be damaged during transit. In the event that this situation arises we ask that you notify us within 24 hours of receipt. (Any claims made outside of this period may not be accepted) We ask that you inspect your goods upon receipt.
Once you have reported your order as damaged we will make all necessary arrangements to have the damaged goods collected or if applicable the broken part or parts replaced.
To help us with your damage claim we may on occasion ask that you provide further proof of damage such as a photo.
