Delivery:  We dispatch orders in 24hrs on business days, via several services from Royal Mail (depending on the item, payment and destination). If you specifically require any other delivery services, please message us to organise this and update the invoice. We are not responsible for delivery delays from postal strikes or other problems that Royal Mail may have.

Postage: In any case of parcel matter araising, we will do our best to request compensation from Royal Mail; after it is issued from Royal Mail, a copy of compensation letter from Royal Mail will be provided to customers. Please note, no imposed liability is accepted by us; we all need patience with royal mail's claim system once a problem is reported to them.

Customer support:  We respond to messages and emails within 24 hours on business days, whenever possible. 

Payments: 

We accept PayPal, Postal Orders and Personal Cheques in the UK.

If sending a payment by Postal Order or cheque, please include a printout E-bay Item Reference Number with the payment.

Payments should be made within 7 days from the end of the auction. Non-paying bidders will be reported to Ebay unless arrangement has been agreed between us via email.

Items paid for by cheque will not be shipped until the payment has cleared. 

We only accept paypal payments outside of the UK.

Refunds: We offer replacement or refund for faulty items once the original item is returned within two weeks of the selling date. Postage costs are not refundable. The item must be returned in its original packaging.  Please use a delivery service that provides tracking information to ensure safe arrival, such as recorded delivery, if it does not return - we cannot refund.

Earrings, nose studs & body piercings: In compliance with the current UK’s Health & Hygiene regulations, Janet Redford Jewellery cannot accept the return of earrings, nose studs or body piercing jewellery.

Hallmarking: We are a registered  company with the Birmingham Assay  & hallmarking office. We comply with British regulations concerning the weight and quality standards of imported silver jewellery.  Giving you peace of mind in that the silver items you buy from us - Janet Redford, is what it says it is -Sterling silver. It is stamped with the international recognised standard '925'. Heavier items, as appropriate, carry a full british hallmark, date, standard and company sponsor mark 'JRJ' (for Janet Redford Jewellery). This is your guarentee of sterling silver quailty.

Jewellery and gemstone quality: The majority of our jewellery is 925 grade sterling silver - the UK standard. We also find items of good quality & design with other precious or semi-precious or non-precious metals, which we may stock and state in the item description. All stated measurements of items are approximate, usually with in one millimeter.

Requests & general enquires: We can supply bespoke jewellery made in Italy. The order needs to be made at least 3 months prior to the date it is required. This allows time for the order to be taken, designed, processed, financed and safely delivered from Italy.  For all enquires and further details please message us via ebay message service if possible, this is the most convenient, safest and easiest way to us to discuss your requirements.

Feedback: We work very hard to ensure our customers are happy and to protect our reputation. If there are any problems with your order, please message me via eBay. It is better for both of us to resolve a problem rather than just leave a negative feedback without both of us finding a good outcome. We try to minimise or foresee any problems, by being careful and checking the order is completed, packaged and posted correctly, very occasionally difficulties arise, just message me! (its nearly always the post!)  I would prefere if we are both content with the outcome of a difficulty.

Communication: We use the ebay messages for customer correspondence, This is for your safety and to reduce spoof or fake emails.

We never open attachements in email correspondence. (Neither should you if you dont know the person who sent it!)
