GOODS LOST or DAMAGED IN TRANSIT
We take the utmost care to ensure your purchase arrives within a reasonable timescale and in the same condition with which it left us. To this end we utilise the services of Royal Mail recorded 1st/2nd Class. This service requires a signature on receipt proving delivery. This service is however not insured, nor trackable until destination is reached. We therefore accept no responsibility for goods lost in transit but would refer buyers to the EBAY item not received procedure where we will produce proof of shipping and any outlay should be refunded by EBAY to the buyer.
We use Royal Mail exclusively where shipping costs are below £5.50 for economy. This is not obligitory and we will happily up grade to Fedex at your request.
In addition to Royal Mail we currently enjoy the services of Fedex. Items with a carriage charge in excess of £5.50 will automatically attract the Fedex 'next working day' delivery service. We try to utilise their 'easybag' service where goods are shipped in a polybag of a given size. These bags are automatically insured to a maximum of £250. Rest assured that your order will be appropriately protected within these bags.
Should your order be too large to fit the largest bag, we will step up to the 'parcel' service where standard insurance is up to £12 per kilo. Should you feel that this standard cover is insufficient for your needs please contact us to arrange enhanced cover.
All fedex shipment methods are fully trackable from us to you and will require a signatory on delivery.
