Did you know when give 4 stars, it may seem like a great score, (for instance a 4 in Dispatch time means "Quickly"), ebay however considers this a sub-par mark. Their standards require sellers to maintain 4.6 and above or be penalised with lower search placing, higher fees and more. Unfortunately, even if every customer left us a 4 star feedback, it wouldn't be good enough according to ebay. They would automatically close our ebay shop, and we would be unable to continue trading on ebay.

Here at the Highland Armoury, we strive to offer 5-star service by:

Item as described: we give a very accurate title and full description of the item, including sizes and colours when appropriate. We display good quality photographs, and where necessary we also add multiple photographs of the product to give a better view.

Communication: we send multiple emails to every buyer including purchase confirmation, invoice, payment received, dispatch info, and purchase thank you. We respond promptly to any questions, and are available and willing to help at any stage of the transaction.

Dispatch time: (please note this measure is how long it takes us to dispatch your parcel into the postal system, not how long delivery takes). We post every day of our working week, Monday to Friday. We dispatch all Royal Mail items within 24 hours (1 working day) of cleared payment, often same day. Larger parcels sent by Parcelforce require uplift booking and are dispatched within 2 working days, often next day.

Postage and Packing: We make no profit from our postage and packing charges, and in fact run at a loss. We subsidise every ebay parcel that we send out by Parcelforce and pay the extra ourselves. Items sent by Royal Mail are often charged at the price of the stamp, or even less. We don't charge a handling fee, or charge for the actual costs of packing materials and time.
