 | Q: Do you combine shipping/postage? |
 | A: Yes we do combine shipping but discounts for combined shipping are only available if paid for on one invoice. To get a single invoice, purchase items but do not chose a method of payment. We will send you an invoice for all your items which will include combined shipping. |
 | Q: How much is the Shipping and Handling Charge? |
 | A: We charge the cost of the postage plus a very small contribution towards the packaging materials plus VAT (Value Added Tax) which we are legally required to charge. |
 | Q: Can I put two pieces of flexible magnetic strip together? |
 | A: Yes, but they are magnetised N-S-N-S-N across the width of the strip. They will, therefore, be offset and will not match up property. We do stock the alternate form which is magnetised S-N-S-N-S if you want the two pieces to match exactly. Please let us know how many metres of each you require. NOTE: no orders less than 1m of each form. |
 | Q: How many Limescale Goodbye units will I need? |
 | A: If you want to condition your cold water you will need at least one, on the mains water pipe above the stopcock. Depending on the size of your house you may also need one on a cold water tank (UK only). To condition your hot water you will need at least one on the pipe going into your hot water tank. |
 | Q: Are your magnets permanent or will they loose strength? |
 | A: ALL the magnets we sell are permanent and do not require electricity to work. Craft magnets are susceptible to mechanical wear (knocks or dropping) and will loose magnetism as a result. Neodymium magnets loose 2% of their magnetism in the first 20 years after being magnetised and NONE after that. |
 | Q: Will a magnetic bracelet work on my knee, hip, back etc? |
 | A: Yes. The study that was carried out in 2004 showed that pain relief was achieved in patients with long term hip and knee pain by wearing a bracelet. The magnets do not need to be at the site of the pain to have a beneficial effect. The study found that the stronger the magnet, the quicker the result and that polarity did not seem to have an effect. |
 | Q: Does the Gas Miser really work? |
 | A: Yes. We bought 2 identical cigarette lighters from our local newsagent. We fixed the gas miser to one of them and made sure the other was kept away from any magnetic fields. Using a digital thermometer rated to 1150C we found that the lighter without the magnet burnt at 630C and the lighter with the magnet at 720C! |
 | Q: How many Fuel Misers do I need? |
 | A: One for every 1200cc (1.2l) of engine size OR 1 per fuel injector. |
