Great Outdoor's Ebay Shop Policies

Please read all aspects of our shop policies.  If you have any queries or questions regarding our policies please email us before purchasing any items.

General

We do not accept 'Best Offers' at this present time.

We will not end auctions early or take part in any 'Off Ebay' transactions.

Please see below for our policies regarding Payment, Delivery and Returns.

Payment

Payment must be received within 7 days after an item has been won/bought.

We accept the following payment methods:

Paypal - Paypal addresses must be confirmed.  If paying by Paypal we will only send goods to the address confimred in Paypal, and will use a delivery method that is Trackable online.  If paying by E-cheque, we must wait for it to clear before despatching any goods.

Nochex - please go to www.nochex.com and send payment to gonicole@btconnect.com.

Credit Card (over the telephone) - Please telephone (01244) 318699 to pay for good over the phone.  Please note that when paying by this method you should always call from a secure landline; Mobile phone connections are not secure.  We are open for this service between 9.00 am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Cheque - We must allow 10 days from the day of receipt for a cheque to clear before despatching any items, regardless of value.

We do not accept the following methods of payment:

Cash

Postal Orders

Bankers Draft

Delivery

We aim to process and despatch orders within 3 working days (Monday-Friday) after Cleared payment has been received.  However, due to circumstances beyond Great Outdoors' control this cannot be guaranteed.  If a delay does occur we will contact you immediately via Email or Telephone.

The delivery service we will use is specified within each listing.

If paying by Paypal we can only deliver to the address specified within the Paypal transaction details.  If you require delivery to an address other than that in the Paypal details you will need to add the second address before paying.

If combined postage/Postage discounts are offered they will be detailed in required listings.

We can only send items to confirmed addresses when paying by Paypal.

We deliver to the United Kingdom ONLY

We cannot deliver items to Northern Ireland or BFPO addresses if the delivery method is listed as 'Other Courier'.

'Other Courier' = Business Post on a Next Day Delivery OR TNT carrier services on a next day before noon delivery.  This will be specified in individual listings.

With Business Post we will need to confirm a suitable delivery day with the buyer before despatching any goods.  This is to avoid unsuccesful deliveries.  Please ensure you include you telephone number when purchasing.

TNT Pricing

TNT have provided Great Outdoors with a reliable and efficient service for over 5 years.  The service they provide us with is their Next day, Before Noon delivery, which must be signed for, and they haven't let us down yet!

Their pricing is as follows:

Up to 10Kg = £9.95 + VAT.

For every Kg over 10Kg = £0.55p + VAT.

e.g. 20Kg tent = £9.95 + (10 x 0.55) = £15.45 + VAT.

TNT do charge a lot more for delivery off Mainland UK (Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man etc), and we ask customers from these parts to contact us for a quote before purchasing any items listed as 'Other Courier'.

Returns

Certain listings may be excluded from our returns policy - please check individual listings for further details.

If you are not entirely satsified with your purchase we offer 14 days from receipt of your item to contact us via email, stating the item number and the reason why you wish to return it.

We will then contact you with further guidance.

Please do not send any items back without contacting us first.

If you have been sent the incorrect item:

We will refund the original postage cost, the return postage costs and offer either a refund of the cost of the item or a replacement.

If you have changed your mind:

We will refund the cost of the item only.  We will not refund any postage costs.

If you require a different size/colour/model etc:

We will require the original item to be sent back (at your own cost) and additional payment for postage.  We will tell you how much the additional postage will be, but usually it will be the same as the original.

If your item is faulty:

If, after inspection, your item is indeed faulty, we will refund the return postage cost and offer either a refund of the cost of the item or a replacement.  We will not refund the original postage cost.

Please note:

We must be in receipt of item(s) before any refund are issued.

The item(s) must be in their original condition, in original packaging and with tags.

The item(s) must be unused.
