Help with buying Tamiya Radio Control Cars
When we sell an RC car kit, UNLESS stated otherwise, it is just the kit without a speed controller unit. To this kit, you need to add a speed controller, a radio system (handset, receiver, steering servo), a battery and a charger.
When we sell a "DEAL" or "BUNDLE" these items are all included.
In all our "DEALS" or "BUNDLES" sold on eBay, you will receive:
1 x Car Kit
1 x Speed Controller (this will be in with the kit)
1 x Radio System
1 x Charger
1 x Battery
RADIO SYSTEM
Unless stated otherwise, the radio system supplied with all bundles/deals will be a Carson Reflex Stick radio:
We can alternatively supply a Carson Wheel & Trigger Radio OR an Acoms Techniplus radio - all for the same price. If you require either the Wheel & Trigger Radio or the Techniplus radio, please leave a comment when you place your order. If you aren't sure, or don't know - you'll be fine with the Carson unit.
CHARGER AND BATTERY
As standard with a deal or bundle, we supply an Ansmann Sport Battery (or equivalent). This is a 7.2v stick shaped rechargeable battery, in a capacity of at least 1500 MAH. We may change this battery from time to time dependant on stock availability but it will always be AT LEAST this specification.
We supply an overnight charger with the bundles. This will be an Ansmann charger. If you would prefer a 2 hour charger, this can be arranged for an additional £5 - please enquire.
