CHRISTMAS DELIVERY
PLEASE NOTE that GemZone will be closed for holidays from 5pm on 18 December until 9am on 27 December. All orders received before then will be dispatched via First Class Royal Mail, to arrive before Christmas. Orders received while the store is closed will be processed immediately upon our return and dispatched the following working day (29 December). HAEMATITE ITEMS
A few questions have been raised in relation to haematite and whether or not it is magnetic. To try and clarify the situation we have added an information page (see below, left).

To sum up, genuine haematite is naturally magnetic, though not always obviously so. What is sold as magnetic haematite is synthetic or reconstituted haematite which has been magnetised.
