Payment Methods
For fastest shipping, please use the eBay checkout and pay using PayPal. Alternatively, UK bidders can pay with a cheque or postal order, but your order will not be despatched until we have received your payment. Cheques must be payable to 'Flameport Enterprises Ltd'.
Buyers outside the UK must pay using PayPal. We do NOT accept money orders, non-UK checks, money transfers or any other types of online payments.
PayPal eCheques - we do accept these, however please be aware that these can take up to 2 weeks to clear, and items will not be despatched until the payment has cleared. The most common cause of eCheque payments is the card registered with PayPal has expired. To avoid this delay, please sign in to your PayPal account and ensure your credit/debit card details are up to date.
Pricing
All items and shipping costs are priced in GBP (Great Britain Pounds) and include VAT where applicable. (The price displayed on eBay is the price you pay, nothing will be added later).
All orders must be fully paid for prior to despatch. We do not offer credit facilities. A VAT invoice will be sent with your purchases.
Purchasers outside the UK/EU still pay the price as shown on eBay, as the shipping costs for those countries have already been reduced to account for the fact you are not paying VAT.
When to pay
Please pay for your purchases as soon as possible. Items can usually be held for up to 7 days and combined with other purchases to reduce postage. Please refer to the item listing for discount eligibility.
If payment is not received within 14 days after the auction end or purchase date, the item will be relisted.
Delivery
Despatch
Orders are normally despatched within 2 working days of receiving your payment. We despatch items most weekdays, except on Bank Holidays and other days when UK post offices are closed. We do not despatch anything on Saturday or Sunday.
Items to UK addresses are normally sent by Royal Mail using either letter post or the standard parcel service. This typically takes 2 or 3 working days, but please note this is NOT a guaranteed time service and may take longer (up to 10 days) particularly at Christmas and other busy times.
Outside the UK, all items are despatched Air Mail which usually takes 5 to 10 working days. (Up to 2 weeks). We do not ship anything by surface mail, as although cheaper, this takes far too long (up to 12 weeks for some destinations - yes that really is a ridiculous three months) and items sent via this method are frequently broken, lost or destroyed in transit.
Shipping Costs
Delivery costs are always shown in the auction description. If a price is not shown for your location, the item cannot be sent there, usually due to the weight or size making the cost excessive.
For UK buyers, any applicable postage discounts will automatically be applied at the Checkout. If you are located outside the UK, please wait for a revised invoice before paying.

Collection
For most items, collection is NOT available. Why not - we no longer have any retail outlets (our last shop closed in 2005). The Poole address is an office only, products are not kept there.
Products are currently packed and despatched from our Swansea location which does not have any facilities for personal callers.
Items Not Received
We will email you when your parcel is despatched. If you have not received it within 10 days, please contact your local post office, as parcels frequently end up there if no one is in when delivery is attempted.
If the item is not there, please contact us for assistance.
Refunds and Returns
Refund Policy
Where items are damaged when you receive them, or prove to be defective in some way after receipt, we will refund the amount paid for the items and shipping costs.
Alternatively, if we have additional stock of the item, you may request a replacement which will be sent to you for no additional cost. If the broken item needs to be returned to us, the cost of return postage will also be refunded.
If you decide that an item is not required or not wanted, the amount paid for the item and shipping costs will be refunded, provided that you notify us within 30 days of receiving it.
You must also return the item to us in the same condition you received it. We do not refund the cost of returning the item to us in these cases.
Refunds are made in the same way that you paid - e.g. if you paid with PayPal, the refund will be made to your PayPal account.
Returning items
Before returning anything, please email first to advise what you are returning and why. You must also include your full name, address, and eBay ID with the returned items.
If you return items without this information, you most likely will NOT receive a refund, as we regularly sell large numbers of identical items both via eBay and other websites.

This is an office only, products are not kept there and cannot be collected in person.
We normally answer post, email and faxes 10.00am to 5.00pm UK time, Monday to Saturday. Anything received outside of these times will be dealt with on the following working day.
