Postage Information
Wherever possible, and when requested, we are always happy to combine P&P on items bought at the same time.
Small Items
Most items are sent First Class Royal Mail. Where appropriate items are packed in jiffy envelopes to protect them in the post.
Larger Items
Larger items are sent by courier - these are usually items weighing more than 2kg, or where multiple items have been bought. Sometimes large items that dont weigh a great deal also need to go via courier. In all cases courier costs for sending items beyond mainland UK are more expensive, so if you live in Northern Ireland, The Isle of Mann, The Highlands and Islands of Scotland or the Channel Islands costs are sometimes as much as treble the cost of the listed P&P price, so please contact us first for a quote for the shipping.
Please try and supply a contact telephone number we can give to couriers - it will often help avoid delays.
Recorded Delivery
We despatch some orders by First Class Recorded Delivery - these are usually orders above a certain value or when requested by the customer. If you would like your order sent by Recorded Delivery please contact us for a price before paying for your item(s).
Courier Service
If the courier can not deliver the item because no one is in to sign for it then they should leave a card so delivery can be re-arranged, however if it needs to go to a different address then a £9.50 new delivery charge will apply. Similarly if an item is returned to us from the correct address and needs re-sending the charge will also apply.
Collection
Items can nearly always be collected from us from our shop in Swanley, Kent - please contact us for further details if required.
Prices
All shipping prices quoted are for postage to Mainland UK addresses. In the case of smaller items postage will not increase if you live in N.Ireland, Isle of Mann, BFPO, Highlands and Islands or The Channel Islands, however on most larger items there will be a surcharge to these destinations so please ask first or expect a surcharge to apply.
If you live in Europe or North America please contact us for shipping costs BEFORE you buy. We prefer to send most items by International Signed For service and it can work out expensive for larger, heavier items.
Please be aware that the price of sending items is much more than the 'stamp' price you see on the envelope. Other costs include: packaging (envelope/box/wrap etc.); packing (someone is required to pack the item); franking (franking machines incur a rental charge); labels (required for franking). All these contribute to the overall P&P charge.
The charge we make for courier delivery is actually LESS than it costs us. And does not take into account packaging etc.
We believe our P&P charges are fair on everything we sell and send. If you feel that a charge has been excessive please let us know.
Lost/Delayed Items
Unfortunately sometimes items do get lost. Although rare it is obviously an inconveniece to both us and our customers. If you have not recieved an item within 7 working days of payment clearing please contact us.
Please be aware that in most instances it will be a case of the item taking longer than usual to be delivered by the Royal Mail. Obviously, it is out of our control in instances where items do take longer to be delivered.
Please note that the Royal Mail do not class items as 'lost' until 15 working days after the item was sent - so please allow time for your order to arrive. In most cases larger items that do not fit through the letterbox are held the the local Post Office or Sorting Office so please check there in the first instance before contacting us.
Returns Policy
Non faulty returns are accepted within 7 days as long as items are in an unused re-saleable condition (packaging complete and not damaged). A 10% restocking fee applies with no refund on P&P.
Damaged on Delivery – Damaged items must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of goods. Upon return of goods a replacement will be issued where possible, otherwise your purchase will be refunded in full. Please retain all packaging etc for inspection.
Any item returned for fault reasons which is subsequently found not to be faulty will be returned to the buyer at the buyers cost. The buyer is responsible for paying for all postage costs in returning items to the seller.
In all cases please contact first before returning any item. |

Despatch Times
We try and turn around most transactions on the same or next working day and once it is sent we assume it is delivered, so please contact us if something appears late. However, please check the item listing first as despatch times are always indictaed within the listing.
Some larger items are stored in our warehouse and need to be delivered to us first before we can despatch to the customer.
Despatch times are clearly stated within the item listing.
On selected items we offer a next day service - please note that to ensure next day service on larger items they may well need to be bought and paid for by noon, otherwise they may be one day later. If you want items shipping outside the UK please ask for postage rates as we can usually ship to most of Europe, USA and Canada. I'm afraid we can not take off any Tax for those outside the EU.
Multiple Items
People buying multiple items can request a combined invoice and where possible we will try and lower the overall postage. Postage discounts for more than one of the same item should be shown on the item listing.
Payment Information
We don't make any extra charge or provide a discount for any particular payment type - so pay by whatever means you prefer.
Items paid for by Paypal that are over £35 require you to have a confirmed Paypal address.
