| A:Unfortunately the DVLA in Swansea will NOT allow you to transfer a registration number directly from a retention certificate onto a NI registered vehicle, however if you have a NI registered vehicle and would like a personalised registration, we CAN arrange the transfer to your vehicle for an additional charge, please call 01283 226633 to discuss. |

| Q:Can I put a deposit down on a registration number to secure it and then pay the balance at a later date? |

| A:A large proportion of the registration marks that we have advertised for sale can be secured by paying a deposit of £150 by credit or debit card, the balance would then usually become payable in full within 14 days. | Q:How long does it take your company to change all of my vehicle documents into the new registration number? |

| A:In most cases we can usually complete the transfer of your new registration mark within 7 days. |
| Q:If I buy a registration from you now, could you liaise with the dealership from where my car is being purchased from, so that I can take delivery of the car on the new registration number? |

| A:YES, we will take care of it all and ensure that the transfer is completed in time for when you take delivery of your new/used vehicle. We would appreciate if you could let us know sooner rather than later for this service. |
| Q:What happens to the registration mark that is currently on my vehicle when I buy a new personalised registration? |

| A:Your current registration number will become 'void' whilst your new registration is on the vehicle, then the same registration will be re-issued back to the vehicle when you transfer your personalised registration to a future vehicle, DVLA do NOT charge you when they issue your OLD registration mark back to the vehicle. |
| Q:I would like something a bit different on my actual number plates like a GB badge or 3D style digits, where do I get these from? |

| A:High street car accessory shops such as Halfords offer various options to make your acrylic number plates look more individual. We usually use number plate suppliers on the internet, such as demonplates.com as we have found that they provide a fast and reliable mail order service. |
| Q:How do I find out where my nearest DVLA Transfer Office is located? |

| Q:Can I purchase a registration that I have seen for sale even though I don't currently have a car for it to be transferred to? |

| A:YES, we can supply your new personalised registration number on either a V750 or V778 DVLA Retention Certificate. You can then have it transferred to a vehicle of your choice at a later date. (this comes in handy when buying as a gift for someone) |
| Q:I have recently purchased my vehicle and only have the small V5C/2 ‘new keepers supplement’ section of the log book, do I have to wait for the full log book to arrive? |

| A:NO, you can still have your new registration transferred to the vehicle without delay as the green V5C/2 slip (called a 'New Keepers Supplement') that you have been given by the previous keeper is accepted by the DVLA Local Licensing Office when transferring a registration to a newly acquired vehicle. |
| Q:The V5C or V5C/2 certificate (known as a log book) is still in the previous keepers name, do I have to send it to the DVLA first to put it into my name? |

| A:NO, as we can action a change of keeper on the vehicle at the same time as transferring your new registration over. |
| Q:If I prefer to assign the registration number myself through my local DVLA Vehicle Registration Office, can you provide me with a Retention Certificate? |

| A:YES, In most cases when the registration number you are buying from us is stored on a retention certificate, we can send out the retention certificate for you to do a 'self transfer'. We will also provide you with full details of how to do it correctly along with a list of all the DVLA Local Transfer Offices throughout the UK. |
| Q:Can I cancel or exchange my purchase if I change my mind? |

| A:Orders CANNOT be cancelled, exchanged or refunded under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 section 13(c).
There is no cooling off period whatsoever once you have purchased as these are personalised goods which fall under the above selling regulations. There are no exceptions. |

| Q:What is the 'Registered Keeper' name? |

| A:The registered keeper name is the name of the person/company who will be on the V5C Registration Certificate (known as the log book or V5 registration document) at the point of when the new registration mark is assigned to a vehicle. TIP: If you are buying for another person (such as for a birthday gift) it will usually be under their own name. |
