Welcome to Film n Fancy
Thank you for checking us out. This is our shop and we are Michael and Donna a more or less normal couple. (at least one of us is according to Donna) We started on e bay a few years ago but to be honest only started to get serious with it in the latter half of 2008 when we started to realize that we should and could be doing more with it. We wanted to start a business/selling venture together and wanted to be able to offer a wide range of products to an even wider range of potential customers etc. We have quite different likes and dislikes and wanted to be able to incorporate these different ideas into our overall selling ethos. The logical answer of all of this would be to to sell lots of different products to a massive potential market at hopefully competitive prices.
This in turn would allow us to make you the "customer" happy and to allow us to make a little bit of money from the project.
An ideal answer being that everyone wins !
Our Aim is to provide a large, comprehensive range of QUALITY used and new products to the customer as quickly as we are able to. Basically you see it-you select it-you pay for it and we get it to you as quickly as possible all without you having to leave the comfort and security of your home.
So What Do We Do ?
At the moment we just have the e bay shop but are putting the finishing touches to our own website. Once done we will link the site through here as we intend to run both sites simultaneously as we think they will both offer a slightly different product range.
Current ranges and sections etc can be seen through the actual e bay shop but the main categories being used are as follows:
DVD Films---Mostly used but some New
Collectables
Games---Board and Electronic
Books
Glassware and Fancy Goods
What are our plans for the future ?
Good question. Lots of plans/ideas just need time to get them from the "idea" stage into the "this is how we will do it stage" to the "it,s now on the shop stage" We will continue to add to the existing range. At the moment overall items being displayed on the shop are approx 700 to 800 lines, this will be increased to anything over 1000 plus. DVD pages
We will probably add categories/sections and sub-sections to this as they come into stock.
Collectables
Need more attention and we will be looking at improving our product portfolio soon.
Games
Are being added to but not quite sure whether to go more down the electronic route or possibly more down the traditional route of board type games etc.

Glassware/Fancy Goods
This area of the shop will be expanded on quite a lot as we seem to be adding to it all the time.
In fairness this is probably one of the ranges that we both like and where we both tend to agree upon the type of products to stock etc. (ah bliss)
This area also lends itself to diversifying into almost an unlimited range of lines. Which are fun to display and fun to sell. Hopefully when bought and received are fun to have.

Will be adding a Jewelry Page
This range will include Bracelets, Pendants, Chains, Body Jewelry, Possibly Rings and Earrings, Maybe Watches, Necklaces and lots of Fashionable Dress Items Will be adding a China Page
This will include vases, figures, collectable pieces, Plates, and anything else that looks good Will be adding a Film Cell Page
Will show a large range of various types of Film Cells. Some will be mounted and some will b.e offered as just the film. We might also have one or two different ideas in the way they could be mounted
And the next Step after the Next Step...?
Who knows ? We have some more ideas but want to get what we have planned working better first.
