ACCEPTANCE

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, if you wish to cancel your order you must inform us no later than 7 days (14 days for eBay Buy-it-now transactions) after receiving your order (as stated in the RETURNS PROCEDURE below), and we will provide all of the details you require to return your goods. The cost of returning the goods is at the buyer's expense and they must be returned to us within 14 days of your payment been received by us. Please note that we do not refund postage and packaging upgrade costs and you are responsible for the item until it is received back at our offices, we recommend that you use a trackable service.

PASSING OF RISK

The customer bears the risk of the goods once they have been signed for.

When an order is returned to FancyDress PartyTime, the customer bears the risk of the goods, and he / she is responsible for them until they are received by FancyDress PartyTime. Reasonable care should be taken when returning goods, goods found to be soiled, damaged etc. may be deemed as in an unacceptable condition and any refund may be withdrawn.

RETURNS PROCEDURE

In the unlikely event that you receive a defective item, a replacement will be dispatched to you upon receipt of the faulty item being returned. No additional charges will be made for replacement item delivery. If the item is no longer available or out of stock, a replacement of the same quality and value or a full refund will be offered.

If your item is faulty upon receipt, you must notify us immediately and we must receive the item within 14 days of delivery date. You will be provided with the returns procedure and your returns number which must accompany the returned item. You must take reasonable care of the item while in your possession.

If you purchase a item with free post and you return it you will be charged the original postage costs (please see our postal charges).

Please note: For all returned items that are returned because you have changed your mind , you dont like the outfit you purchassed , your party has been cancelled or you have ordered the wrong size we have a 10% restocking fee which is applicable to all the reasons above. Please read all these conditions and agree to them before ordering from us.

If the goods are to be rejected in the time limit set in ACCEPTANCE PROCEDURE above, the customer shall comply with the return procedure as defined. FancyDress PartyTime may not accept any returned goods should the return not follow the aforementioned return procedure.

FancyDress PartyTime offer a 7 day 'cooling off' period for all goods purchased within this eBay shop, this 7 day 'cooling off' period begins the day after you receive your delivered goods. If a customer decides that they wish to return their order they must do so within 14 days of receipt, they must contact FancyDress PartyTime Customer Services by email at fancydresstime@aol.com or by post at the above address informing us of the return and your order number. Postal cancellations are effective upon postage of cancellation and not receipt of. Email cancellations are effective upon receipt. When returning the goods your returns number should be clearly quoted on the return package. Customers returning goods must take reasonable care of the goods and ensure that they are returned to FancyDress PartyTime in the condition you received them.

The customer is responsible for the goods until they are received by FancyDress PartyTime as defined in PASSING OF RISK above. The customer must pay for the postage to return the order, and the original postage charge may not be refunded. A refund for the cost of the goods, or a replacement will be issued to the customer once the goods have been received and checked by a member of staff. Due to the nature of our business particular scrutiny will be used in connection with this aspect or our returns policy. If there is a discrepancy over the returned goods, FancyDress PartyTime must contact the customer within seven days of receipt to discuss this.

In cases where the rejection of goods is due to a fault or defect in the order (for example, the incorrect goods have been sent), the customer is entitled to a full replacement or refund (postage charges will also be refunded). The faulty or damaged product must be returned to FancyDress PartyTime before the refund or replacement can be issued. The customer is given up to 14 days after paying for their goods from FancyDress PartyTime to return them, however they must still comply with the ACCEPTANCE PROCEDURE above and contact FancyDress PartyTime within 7 days of receipt to inform of the return. Your statutory rights are not affected.

In cases where the rejection is made after the 7 day 'cooling off' period, the customer is entitled to an exchange or credit note (less postage) only. Goods must be returned to FancyDress PartyTime before the exchange or credit note can be issued. A customer may return an order for an exchange / credit note up to 30 days from receipt. After this 30 day time period the order may not be returned. This does not affect the customer's statutory rights. Goods should be returned as described in RETURNS PROCEDURE and must be unused and in their original condition.

YOUR SATISFACTION IS OUR PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

If, for some reason, you need to return part or all of your order, it's easy. Simply follow the instructions outlined below. All returns are acknowledged by email and refunds will be credited to the original payment method.

FAULTY PRODUCTS

Should a product be faulty, you should let us know immediately as we will happily refund it or exchange it for you. You should let us know as soon as possible via email at fancydresstime@aol.com within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETURNING GOODS

Before sending the goods back to us please email us at fancydresstime@aol.com. You will need to confirm your name, order number and postcode, so please include these in your email. FancyDress PartyTime will send you a Returns Number which you need to include when returning your goods.

MAY WE PLEASE ASK YOU TO ADDITIONALLY NOTE: LIABILITY

We shall be under no liability in respect of any default arising from fair wear and tear, negligence, abnormal working conditions, willful damage, misuse or alteration or repair of the ordered goods without our approval.

MAY WE PLEASE ASK YOU TO ADDITIONALLY NOTE: DISPUTED ITEMS

Any returned goods that we receive which are outside of this Returns Policy will be defined as 'Disputed'. Such disputed items will not be refunded or exchanged and a reason for this decision will be provided. We are happy to re-ship such disputed items back to you at a cost to yourself; otherwise they will be destroyed within 91 calendar days from their receipt back to us.
