PASSING OF PROPERTY

FancyDress PartyTime shall retain the property of the goods until full payment has been made by the customer and has been received by FancyDress PartyTime either directly from the customer or from the customer's bank.

The risk in the goods shall pass to the customer on delivery, as defined below.

DELIVERY DATE: DISPATCHING OF ORDERS

All orders will normally be dispatched within 2 working days. We will contact you by email on the day of dispatch, so please ensure you have accurately provided your email address. Please check that you have given a telephone number as an alternative means of contact.

Each item has an estimated dispatch time of 48 hours. This is the average length of time that it takes to dispatch the order. In addition to this, each order has an average delivery time, which is the time it takes Royal Mail, or our chosen courier, to deliver the item. If the total delivery time for the order exceeds 30 days, it is our policy to contact the customer and inform them of this. If your order will not be received within 30 days you are given the choice to cancel your order for a full refund.

FancyDress PartyTime cannot be held responsible for delays in the delivery caused by the manufacturer, courier, or any other third party.

DELIVERY DATE: ORDERS WITH OUT-OF-STOCK ITEMS

If any products in your order are not available at the time of order, you will be contacted with details of the items, and when they are expected to arrive in stock. You are then given the choice of either:

Removing the items and having the rest of the order dispatched immediately;
Pausing the items having the rest of the order dispatched immediately and then the out-of-stock items delivered when they arrive back in stock (this incurs extra postage);
Waiting for the out-of-stock items to return in-stock and then having the whole order dispatched as one;
Canceling the whole order.

At busy times of the year, where order deadlines are in place (at Christmas or Halloween for example) where we have been unable to contact you about the problem, then as agreed beforehand, we will either dispatch the order with a suitable replacement, or send the remainder of the order without the out-of-stock items. The policy as described above.

ORDERING: HELPFUL TIPS

Where possible always have your order sent to an address where someone is available to sign for it.
If your order is being delivered to a work address please ensure it is okay to do so and that you have informed the post room or reception that you are expecting a delivery.
If your order has not been delivered within the expected delivery window please do not delay in contacting us.
Please check that we have been given the correct email address as any input errors cannot be corrected once the order has been placed.

SHIPPING

Most orders are sent through Royal Mail or a courier. Unless otherwise specified, all products are shipped by Recorded Delivery and will require a signature on delivery.

PASSING OF RISK

The customer bears the risk of the goods once they have been signed for.

ACCEPTANCE

The customer shall inspect the goods within 7 days of receipt and shall be deemed to have accepted the goods unless the customer contacts us (as stated in the returns Procedure) to state that the goods have been declined. If no such action has been taken, FancyDress PartyTime shall consider the products being described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their purposes, and may not accept any rejection at a later date. After this 7 day 'cooling off' period, a customer may only return goods as described in returns procedure.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations are only accepted if the customer complies with the following procedure and before the order has been dispatched. Orders cannot be cancelled if the order has already been dispatched, this is in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. It is still possible to cancel your order as described in the returns procedure. If the procedure is not respected, the order will be considered valid and the customer will remain liable for the full payment.

Cancellations can be made at FancyDress PartyTime via email at fancydresstime@aol.com. A member of staff at FancyDress PartyTime will confirm the cancellation and we recommend that you make a note of the staff member's name. If the cancellation is successfully made before dispatch, we will totally cancel your order and there will be no charge whatsoever.

LICENSE AGREEMENT

The customer shall respect all license agreements delivered by the copyright owners. FancyDress PartyTime cannot be held responsible or liable for any misuses conducted by the customer or any third party. Please see our Copyright Info page with regards to copyright.

PRICING ERRORS

While we try to ensure that all prices on our eBay Shop are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you prior to dispatch and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct selling price or canceling.

OVERSEAS DELIVERY (OUTSIDE MAINLAND UK)

Overseas delivery charges for orders placed with FancyDress PartyTime are dispatched using a fully tracked service.

ALL ORDERS

If, due to unforeseeable circumstances, we are unable to meet your order in the designated time, we will contact you within 24 hours of receipt to discuss an alternative. If this alternative is not acceptable, you may cancel your order without further obligation.

Due to unforeseen circumstances if an order is delayed or goes missing in transit, we are unable to send out any replacement items until the original order is confirmed as lost by the carrier. If a replacement item is required quickly, you will need to place another order and return the original order at a later date for a full refund.

Deliveries are subject to availability. If we have a problem with your order such as unavailability of an item we will call you. If you are unavailable we will send you an email telling you what action we are taking.

Our delivery methods allow full trace of your shipment from dispatch until delivered and signed for by you. Our charges to you cover all postage, packing, security procedures and insurance (optional).

We accept all major credit and debit cards. Like any other shop we require full payment for all purchase and transport costs before goods can be released. This is important where the delivery charges are not standard.

PAYING BY CHEQUE

We accept company and personal cheque's. If you wish to pay by cheque this will need to be cleared before we dispatch the goods, this usually takes a minimum of three working days. Please do not send cash for mail order purchases. PLEASE MAKE CHEQUES OUT TO MILLENNIUM PARTY ENTERPRISES.

We may use Equifax Cheque Services, a division of Equifax plc, to guarantee your cheque. We may pass them details of your cheque. If your cheque is subsequently returned unpaid, we will inform Equifax Cheque Services and also provide them with your name and address. Equifax Cheque Services will record this information and use it to decide whether to guarantee your present and future cheque's. Equifax Cheque Services may share their information with their credit reference division and the subscribers to their Credit Reference division in order to evaluate applications for credit made by your company or, if not acting on behalf of a company, by you and your family members in your household. Managed credit facilities held by your company or, if not acting on behalf of a company, by you and your family members in your household, may contact you to recover any debt owed and to prevent fraud.

PRODUCT VARIATIONS

Because of our large range and the nature of our product, we cannot guarantee that all items are immediately available. We will let you know if any of the items you have ordered are not in stock. Because of the type of products we offer, there can be minor variations in colour and style. This does not affect your statutory rights.

PAYPAL DELIVERY

When ordering using PayPal please try to ensure that you are able to use a confirmed address for delivery. While we ship to unconfirmed addresses we cannot accept responsibility if the delivery address is incorrect.

If an unconfirmed address is used we will try to ensure that the address is correct, although you will have received two emails, one from FancyDress PartyTime and one from PayPal confirming that an order has been placed using your account.

It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery address has been entered when the order is placed. If you decide you would like to change a delivery address then please contact our customer services at fancydresstime@aol.com

YOUR RIGHTS TO CANCEL

You have the right to cancel an order but we will not refund the postage and packing charges if the goods have already been processed for shipping.

Because of the nature or our operation and the volume of emails we receive, we recommend that instructions for cancellation are made as early in the day as possible. Please note we usually process orders from 8am until 3pm during normal working days and your communication may reach us after we have processed your order.
